This is my old car, a 98 Dodge Intrepid. So this was my project. The system included: Sony C90 CD tuner, 2 Audiocontrol EQTs, JL 300/4, JL 300/2, 2 JL 500/1s, JL XR 650 components, 2 JL 6W0s and 2 JL 15W3s. Two JL 15W3s for sale. Anyone interested in pieces of this install let me know. (Custom intrepid fit 15 boxes)Right now, shes sittin stock but I've got plans for some tint, some new rims, lowering springs and I might shave the emblems for a cleaner look. This pic is of my deck in its new home. Its a Sony ES C90. I fiberglassed the mounting kit to the dash trim, sanded, bondo, sanded, textured, painted, and bling! There ya have it. The above right pic shows the XR tweet at home in the drivers side A piller. I cut out a mounting ring out of some half inch, glassed it on and gave it some more of the glass, sand, bondo, sand, texture, paint routine. I like this location because it brings the stage height up. Im going to run a 300/4 for these so I can ditch the passive Xovers. I need to raise the Xover point to the 4500-5k range.Heres a few pics of work on the kickpanels. Metal was cut out to access space in the frame rail of the car. There is quite a bit of space there. This loads the mid into a real IB setup and lets them play down a bit farther than a sealed kick would. I really dumbed out and forgot to take pics while aiming the mids. Third pic shows the raw kick, I threw the grill on quick to protect it. A few pics showing some construction of the dual 6W0 glovebox. This really sounds good, makes the bass move up front pretty good unless I overpower them with the 15s. With the 15s crossed low and playing low however, the upfront bass is nice. They surprised me a little, they play pretty low and thump away good for how big they are. This last pic is of the glovebox as of 4/14/03. Not quite there but looking much better, working on the trim pieces that finish out the shape and cover the access to screws.
