THIS IS PROJECT CHEAP STREET IMPULSE!!!
*snicker* My car's a number 2!! Go Speed Racer Go! hahahaha

I just thought I should share the project car I acquired a while ago with all the Isuzu owners out there.

Thanks to Kajifox from Australia for keeping me from totally destroying this fun little car before I found out how cool it actually was. ^.^

Cookie time. This thing does second-gear cookies on dry nasty pavement EASY.

My aim is to see how fast I can get this non-turbo, non-expensive, not-noticeable POS to go, for as little money as possible. It ran 18's when I got it going at first.

Sorry for the blur. :D I have yet to find out what needs to be replaced on the engine that makes the Check Engine light come on. I've been thinking about taking the bulb out and ignoring it altogether. ;)

I got this car for free from a buddy(actually traded a set of PIAA 1500's and a pair of subwoofers for it).

It had been sitting in a back yard for two years, uncovered, with the back three windows broken out by some neighbor kids. They also keyed the sides nicely with some sort of sharp object, say perhaps a set of keys?

After dragging it out of the backyard it was in, bailing out the standing water from the front seat floors, charging the battery and cranking it over a few times, it fired right up and drove home.
This is basically how it looked after I washed it off, vaccuumed out all the broken glass, cleaned it up as much as I felt was necessary, and replaced the back side windows with ones from a local junkyard.

...and yes, those are my tire tracks on the pavement. ;D
