Performance and MotorThe truck started out as a mild performer but when it came time to rebuild the motor this is what happenedThe motor took a crap on me shortly after I finished the stereo so at this time I figured it was time to go all out. I purchased a late model 350 4 bolt block and a forged crank from Chevrolet and then it was off to the Summit catalog.I ended up with LT1 connecting rods, TRW forged 8.1:1 pistons, Trick Flow aluminum heads, a Crane cam, Crane roller rockers, an Edelbrock performer TBI intake and as for the induction I had always wanted a blower so I installed a Whipple supercharger. As for exhaust I installed a set of Borla headers and cat back exhaust along with a Dynomax hi flow catalytic converter. This is what it looked like without the blower. Here is a pic. of the blower after I polished and painted it.The previous owner put in a rebuilt T-700. It seemed very solid but within the first month I had smoked it so I had one built by Performance Transmission in Sacramento, CA. It is fast as hell and will break the back end loose at 25 mph.
