MY OLD RIDE!! *sad face* click to visit site
Welcome to my page. What we have here is my beautiful $100 dollar dodge shadow es turbo 5spd with the wicked awsome pumper style wheels and the shadow seats with "shadow" stitched into them. This car is being built as a tribute to my 92 sundance, they are nice little cars if you take care of them. dont let black ice take care of your cars.
heres the drivers side, the brown on the wheel wells is where i started work in it, i wires brushed the paint off of where its starting to rust then put some rust killer on it, this stuff is on both rear wheel wells and the trunk lid (of course) and the hood
the lovely hood
rear of the car, bumper is from a different car
Pass side, PImpinprobegl himself with his beautiful ford probe
yeah, 190k on it and it runs beatifully though a little back fireing when down shifting
THose pics were taken after my first day just before i put plates on it. ive alot of work ahead of me like cleaning out my dads fiance's shit form the garage so i have a place to work instead of this outdoor raint shit i have to deal with. Ive gota boost controller to go on it when i get the boddy together nicely. I walso have to repair the passenger side floor that has a softball sized hole, the return fuel line leak and the trunk thats rusting out as well. This WILL be a nice car when its done, its ok righ tnow. I LOVE THESE CARS my first car was a 92 sundance (MKULTRASDANCE on the friends list) i almost died in it when i hit some black ice and launched off the road through the backside of a ditch, rolling once completely and settling next to a telephone pole. thanks for lookin!
UPDATED JUNE 17, 2005 (yeah already)
As you can see my garage is quite packed with my dads fiances shit. rainy day + no school + day off from work = make shift garage! I had a major gas leak that i had to fix, so i went ahead and replaced them. sunroof was leaking horribly! the black plastic pieces that the sunroof "tabs" stuck into are screwed in and the water is kept out by small, poorly made gaskets. removed them and went happy with the silicone. removed most of the headliner because it was so soggy. It was like your cereal gets when you wake up in the morning and pour a bowl and add milk but then decide you need to poop so you go do your business and come back and try to eat the cereal and its all soggy and has no crunch to it... yeah sorta like that. after that i started workin on the trunk. need to get my hands on some metal and a welder to weld up the holes in the trunk and put new floors in. you may think im crazy for putting this much work into a shadow. but i have the time and money and dont want to put themn towards drugs sooo...
