1991 Subaru Legacy. The rims are from a 1995 Legacy LS.
A Pilot stainless steel muffler and 2 Pilot exhaust tips were installed. It took the muffler installer 2+ hours to install it because he had to make custom piping and brackets to make it fit. It does not sound like most popular aftermarket Honda (and other import cars) mufflers. This one sounds almost exactly like the dual Flowmaster mufflers on my friend's Mustang. It's very loud.
Besides the rims, exhaust, spray tint, and a little trim off the springs, no other exterior changes were made.
My dash includes the Alpine 7618, 3617, and 3218. The 7618 is a cassette player with cd changer controls and DigitalMax. It also includes a remote. It originally was a pull-out, the last of it's kind from Alipne that was in production for 3 years(the last was 1994), but now it is a permanent in-dash deck. It is only a pre-amp unit, and so is the 3617. The 3617 is a digital sound processor. It's very complicated and I still don't know exactly how to use it properly. Under the 3617 is the 3218 equalizer. During competition, the 3617 and 3218 were both not used, they were only for cosmetics and only were powered to turn on with the 7618. The audio output went straight from the 7618 to the Phoenix Gold 215x. The green illumination of all 3 units exactly matches the illumination of the instrument panel.

The bass knob for the Phoenix Gold 215x and alarm LED is just above the cigarette lighter.
In the glove box hides the Alpine 5960. It sits flush into a new panel covered with matching carpet. At night, a green light illuminates the front of the changer. There is still space to put in the manual, a couple pens, insurance cards, and registration.
All of the Alpine units are within reach of the driver. It makes controlling the stereo a lot easier. I have MB Quart 215.02CX for the front stage and MB Quart Comp 5 1/4 for the rear deck.
The amp rack held a Phoenix Gold M44, M25, and EQ 215X, all under smoked plexiglass. Gray carpet and grill cloth was used to match the trunk liner. The M25 powered the rear deck speakers. Two channels of the M44 ran the front speakers while the other two channels were bridged the run the subs.
The sub enclosure was ported through the rear deck and contained 2 JL Audio 10W5s, firing into the trunk. They were bridged to 1.5 ohms. Dynamat was applied to the entire trunk and trunk lid . The Phoenix Gold fuse block and distribution block were on the left and the stiffining cap was on the right, outside the amp rack.
The stock battery was replaced with an Optima 800, and Phoenix Gold wiring and accesories were used throughout. The battery was also covered with smoked plexiglass to match the trunk. (Battery was changed after picture was taken)
