This is my jeep. Its an 83 CJ-7 with a wrangler tub on it. It is on there because the other was rotted out. It is powered by a 258 straight 6 but it is in the process of being swaped out as I am putting in a 87 5.0 HO motor in it. The specs for the motor are for the 5.0.. I have installed a NP435 tranny and kept the Dana 300 transfer case. I am also going to swap in dana 44s front and rear but for now the factory axles hold up fine.
This is my jeep last winter with old tires on it.
For the tires I chose 33-12.50-15 BFG Mud Terrain's. I went with 33 cause thats all the axles can take untill I get the dana 44's, then I will put 35's on. As for wheels i have M/T classic 2's on there. I keep um clean.
For subs I choose 2 JL w6 10"s. I will be going to 6 10 w6's but for now these are fine and they are real loud.
For a head unit I will have the JVC digifine 2.1 mp3 deck, but for now a JVC kdc750 works.
For 6x9s I had to get Jensen or nothing so Jensen it was but not for long. JL's are in the works. Im 16 and funding is tuff.
But I do have nice 5.25 inch Kenwood coaxials. JL XR components are on there way also.
The amps are shit. I just got what I could for now....but it is a pretty clean install. I plan on geting a R.F punch 160.2 for the 5.25s,a R.F punch 360 for the 6x9s and a two R.F bd 1000s for the subs( the 6 10"s of coarse). This is what it looks like under my seat.
This is a pic of my pride playing in the woods!
Well thats my jeep thanks for looking
