THE FOLLOWING PIX ARE FROM PREVIOUS SETUPS

I pretty much copied/pasted the text and images here. Maybe someday I will put some effort into this page. For now my laziness will show :)

Driver's side door with last year's model Infinity Reference 5x7 coaxials and 3/4" component tweets that are "professionally" mounted with Velcro! This picture was stolen by some guy named Rangernuuh. Im sure the page was a joke, but it upset me at first!!! Two other pix from my page were also stolen. :)

Ditto, but passenger's side

This is my first (and now current) box for my RE sub. I have some pictures of it being builtt on page 4. It is 2.25 cubes tuned to 35hz with 24" of port. I got a 136.0 on the dash at my first ever competition. By the way, the organization was SLAP.

Back in March, 2002 when I first installed that setup, it was still cold! One day I got into the truck and there was frost all over the amps! Look at where I dragged my finger through the frost on the upper right-hand corner of my Power Acoustik amp!

Let me introduce you to my Resonant Engineering SE 12 Sub! RE subs are also known as boobs due to the appearance of the way the subs looked in their first few years.

Heres a view from an angle showin off the size of the motor on this sub! It has a triple ring magnet, which makes this thing HEAVY! The subs weight is 22 lbs.

This angle shows the sub from the side. It is my favorite picture of my sub!

Yes, I cut out the sub hole for my enclosure in my BATHROOM!!! I live in an apartment so I gotta do the dirty work in a room that is easily cleaned, as I do not have a garage to work in. Either way, Im in the doghouse with Jane every time Im working on a box! This picture will probably stay on this site forever; it is a classic!!!

This is a pic of the three latest subs Ive used. The one on the left is an a/d/s/ 308rs. I have two of these subs that I would like to sell to whoever wants them!!! The next sub is one of my Pioneer Premier TS-W1240C subs. Although the sub lacks in certain areas, I still like it. One of them is currently installed in Janes Cutlass. Of course, the next one is my Resonant Engineering sub!

Here is a similar picture taken with my skinny white foot in the box!

Heres my other enclosure. It is 2 cubes tuned to 42 hz with 48 of port area. I made port plugs that would have been able to lower the tuning to 37 hz with 36 of port area, but I never installed them.

This is my 6X8 port. I made port plugs to drop the tuning to 37 hz. I never installed them

Heres the best shot I could get with the box already installed in the truck. Too bad I didnt take a pic when the box was outside the truck.

Heres the powerplant for my sub! It is currently mounted on my enclosure along with my Power Acoustik amp and Memphis crossover. This is the 2000 Rockford Fosgate Power 800a4. The amp is currently bridged to 2 channels, allowing each bridged channel powering its own coil on the sub. The resulting nominal load on the amp is dual-4 ohm mono. In this old picture it was powering my Infinities and Pioneer Premier subwoofer.

Here's an above view of one of my a/d/s/ 308rs 8" DVC woofers. In this view they were mounted in 0.35 cu foot sealed boxes I made to fit under the piece of $H|+ jump seats. This picture was obviously taken with the seat up. I had decided to go with the smaller subs in that setup in an effort to save room for my girlfriend's who sat back there before we got the Cutlass.

After the a/d/s/ woofers and before my Resonant Engineering sub, I installed one of my old Pioneer Premier subs (TS-W1240C). I had two of them in my install before the a/d/s/ woofers.. The Premier sub was in a crappy pre-fab 0.7 cu foot sealed box. I made a 1.5 cube sealed box, but I lost tons of bass drum kick, and the low bass overpowered everything! I went back to the prefab box after my disappointment. This sub was just temporary until I got my Resonant Engineering sub.

Here's a pic of rear cab, showing everything the way it looked before as a daily driver. That was of course with the a/d/s/ subs installed under the jump seats.

Ditto, but from a distance. This picture shows how stealth this install appeared from a distance.
