Thanks for looking at my ride. It is a 1999 Volkswagen Polo with a lowering kit, RH Cup wheels, taillights from the 2000 model and some other minor changes. The goal was to create a decent looking car that can be driven like a sportscar but doesn't look like it :)
Now I finally got to take some pictures of the new install and update this page.
Front speakers
The front Speakers are made by exact!, a german speaker manufacturer. The Woofer is placed in the stock place in the door which ist reinforced with fibreglass and a steel ring. The tweeters are placed above the dash board (if any of you americans can tell me the exact name for the place i woul appreciate it ;-)) which ist also built of fibreglass and coated with leather
The trunk
The Audison amp and the JL sub are placed in a fibreglass-designed trunk which just takes 10cm (3,9") of height of the original trunk and ist still fully usuable. The JL enclosure has about 60 liters (2,12 cu. ft). The whole trunk is also coated with leather and can be covered by wooden inlets which hide the system and make the trunk "shopping-ready" ;-)
Headunit
The Headunit is a Clarion DXZ718R which sounds really good and has everything I need, except for time alignment. Thus it might be replaced by something new in the future as soon as there's enough $$$ on my account again ;-)
