I love Boarder's stuff, and from the look of it this JZA80 has the whole catalog on it!This Evo VI was for sale in a used car shop in Gunma, I wanted it so bad.This the fist Evo VII I ever saw, this was in June of '01, its slightly less agressive than the VI but every bit as fast. This was at a rest stop just outside of Tokyo.S15 for sale in Gunma, the SR20 had a HKS blow off valve, a HKS power filter and an exhaust. The interior was great, the seats were very surportive, great for the drift!.This Z is so sexy! i love the BBS rims in gold on the black car, makes me wanna get some bronze TE37's! Gotta love the plate number too.This SW20 looked awsome, from the outside. The interior was beat up badly from people getting in and out of it. This was at the Toyota musem at Daiba. The TRD widebody looks stunning.On the right is a sleek GD WRX near the school in Ashikaga. And the white GD was in the parking lot of the coolest cd/game/book store, Wonder GOO!!! I wanna see this F1 V10 or this twin turbo V6 on a civic! From the Honda colletion hall at Twin Ring Motegi.I vow, here and now, that I too, will swap out my BP for a RB26!! This car is amazing, from the guys at Power Master Ichikawa, this NA6 uses a host if Nissan GTR parts, and running 1.4kg/cm2 of boost, puts down 650hp at 8000rpm!!! It uses a IHI RX6 turbo, and a 180sx trans matted to the engine via a RB20 bell housing. the brakes are even 295mm fronts off of a Skyline R32 Type-M. One day........My Latest Project

With a predicted 250 RWHP in the near future, I opted to use an ACT clutch and paired it with Flyin' Miata's lightweight flywheel to make sure there is no clutch slippage. The slightly harder pedal feel is worth all that extra clamping force. Kinda sucks that I have to put the flywheel in the car, I would like to hang it on my wall. Half of the fun of a turbo is the great noises that it makes. Spinning ball bearings and the yodel of a nice loud blowoff valve. I went with the HKS Super Sequential Blowoff Valve for my setup. I love the way it sounds, performs, and it just looks damn cool. Becuase the above TECII uses a MAP sensor, I can eliminate the use of a MAF sensor, allowing me to use a BOV that vents to atmosphere. Also shown is the HKS SSBOV flange to weld to my intercooler pipes. Most people that I talk to with turbos on their Miata's don't have a turbo timer. I feel that it is just a $100 that lets me worry about one less thing in this hectic world. The Blitz Dual Turbo Timer has some nice fuctions. It has 2 user defined countdown settings, and also a feature that records boost and not only holds the peak boost reached, but calculates how long to let the car idle after I take the key out. It also matches my green back lighting in my dash and console at night GOT FLOW? Here my new RC Engineering 550cc/min injectors dwarf the stock injectors. These injectors flow nearly twice as much, enough to theoretically support 300~350 horsepower. Here is a shot of the engine bay after the TECII, looks nice & neat. To the right is a closeup of the TECII itself. Here we have the 2 bar MAP sensor capable of reading up to about 14.7 lbs of boost, and the coolant temprature sensor on the right. Well here we have the allmighty turbo. As you can see I went with the smaller ball-bearing T-28 opposed to the larger T3/T04E. I decided this partly due to the fact that my car is a daily driver, and the quick spooling action of the ball-bearing should prove to be more enjoyable on the street that the lag on the larger turbo. The second part that led me to this turbo was the cast manifold, one that should never crack like the tubular manifold may. With 10~12psi on a daily driver, I do need some reliablity. While the turbo is off the car I plan on ceramic coating the exhuast housing, and possibly the manifold as well as tapping the manifold for a EGT gauge. Here are a few other shots of the turbo and manifold. It is in really good shape for being used (only had maybe 5,000 miles on it, if that!) In the picture on the right you can see the internal wastegate actuator that will be run by the TECII's GPO output.

When my Dad is on the track he runs a set of 205/55/14 Kumho V700s. On the left is a newer shot, with the TypeII wing installed. Gravy!Here are few of me at a car control clinc. Many onlookers said it looked like I didnt learn a thing. But thats to the untrained eye! I said screw the "lesson" and practiced my drifting. Homemade FIA World Rally Thats me pulling my Uncle's NSX out of his driveway...Thats me driving away..whata nice car, there is nothing like 292 NA horsepower (251 @ the wheel) under your right foot. And the RM Racing header & exhaust make the sweetest sound. The NSX can also be seen in Sport Compact Car's May 2000 issue (Vol.12 No.05) on page 21. Just a note also, RM's NOS boosted NSX mentioned in the article hit 307.3 wheel hp, not 207.3hp as written. The torque rating is correct however at 290.5 lb/ft. Here I am this past summer when I got to drive this amazing WRX STI version. My host families good freind works for Fuji Heavy Industries and I asked if he could take me on a tour. He showed up the next day in this badass car. The combo of 285hp and the all-wheel drive was amazing, I have never felt acceleration like that before. I took it up to 3500 rpm and just dumped the clutch, I hit about 90 km/h in no time! This one was a stock STI version: larger STI intercooler, STI racing seats, huge Brembos all the way around, and a STI exhaust among other things, you know the norm for J-spec cars. On the left is a picture of me in the plant itself in front of the final production line. I'm in front of a couple of WRX's bound to be exported to the states. This place was amazing, they only have one assembly line, and 3 different car models are made on it at the same time(Impeza, Legacy Wagon, Forester). This is what happens to a miata when you get hit by a '99 Lincoln Continental traveling 90 mph....if anyone ever tells you that in an accident the miata wont take care of you, tell 'em about this. My parents were in the car, and both walked away without a scratch. For those who are familiar with the area, the sign that stopped the car (and that was broken by the car) is the sign that reads "All State Area: This exit" near O-Hare airport. You cant see it but where the sign stopped the car, the car is really bent up. Also the front drivers side fender is pushed up over the hood, so we coudnt open it to see what is goin on under there, at the least the powersteering is out. DICK! The dude was drunk (at the very least) and in a what is belived to be a stolen car. He was weaving through traffic at what my dad said had to be at least 100mph , he lost control and got sideways. When he gripped he slammed in the side of the Miata. After hitting my parents he spun more and hit a divider. After the collision he got out and started to run. Some witnesses started to chase him and he eventually was arrested at a nearby Target. He wasnt cooperating with the police but I guess he has been in jail twice before (3 strikes and your out HAHAHA). You can see here better, the morning after the side that hit the sign. Its messed up bad too. Here are the drivers side front and rear. This is where the car hit the gaurd rail. The rear hit first and then the front, the side of the car never hit the rail, as you can see the drivers side mirror is still in there.

Here is the FM FMIC. I got it used for a good price, and with a few hours with a little screwdriver I was able to bend back the areas that had been hit by debris. I figured those areas would not flow as good, and I want all the cooling I can get. Not shown are the turbo outlet pipe and the turbo intake pipe, both of which I am getting from FM without provisions for the MAF and recirculating blowoff valve. On the short pipe in the upper left corner, I am going to weld on the HKS 65mm steel flange to mount my HKS SSBV, and you can already see that the TEC's air intake temp sensor is mounted by cutting a hole and then using some JB weld to secure it on that same pipe.Here are my Omori EGT and Boost gauges. Both of them are electronic and in American readings. I also like the fact that they have a green backlight at night, so it will match the stock speedo & tach almost perfectly. It seems I always pay a bit more just to get the little things ya know!Aight, here is my new muffler. Its a Universal HKS Titanum Turbo type. What does that mean you say? 4.5" Tip, 3" piping, and an awsome looking tip!! Yes it's big, yes I like it, and yes its going on a Miata! In fact the entire system from the turbo back will be 3"!!Here is some stud (the stand in wishes to remain unknown...)just to show you how big it is. And to the right is a shot of the entire muffler. Hahahaha!! Not back-pressure here, I can hear that turbo spooln' now!!!

Taking in a nice afternoon at SealBeach, CA Here is a shot with my friend Nick's 300ZX Twin Turbo. It's a really fast car, but just wait till I'm running boost..... This is a good shot of the FM NA duals, soon to be replaced by the turbo duals. The Z is running a Greddy SP system.Yea those are Volk Racing Rays TE-37 16x7 rims wrapped in 215/40ZR16 Toyo T1-S rubber. The power gets to the ground through a Torsen LSD bought from Mazda Recyclers.

To the left is a picture of the above mentioned Racing Beat subframe brace and to the right is a shot of the Z's front caliper that we repainted. Looks nice huh? Here are my only interior mods, Mazdaspeed's e-brake & shiftknob, both in carbon/aluminum. When money allows I really want to throw in a set of black Sparco Roadster seats. Here is a view of my engine. To help the cars lungs I've added a Racing Beat Hi-flow intake, and Brainstorm's 4-1 header matted to their mid-pipe. The exhaust gasses are expelled through FM NA duals. For better spark I added Racing Beat's plug wires and NGK extended reach spark plugs. The Z is running a Stillen conical style intake and Greddy SP exhuast system. A Blitz Dual Turbo Timer is on hand to help prolong the life of the two turbos. To help keep it all cool a Stillen oil cooler has been added. Soon to be installed is a ApexI white faced E.L. series electronic boost gauge to keep the engine in check and a Jim Wolf Technologies ECU to help in the horsepower department.
