I'll have to update this page, because a lot has been done since the last time. To those of you have asked about the car, visit www.nissanexa.com or www.forum.n12turbo.com and check out the members rides.. both of my N12s are one there.. also to those that have asked.. the car is not for sale and more than likely wont ever be for sale. cheers.

Just a little pic of the EXA so far... i've got a 600x300x76mm intercooler to go in the front (just fits in between the headlights) and some 3"-2.5" pipework. Plus a T25G turbo comming next week....

My signature for www.nissanexa.com all NX owners should join. everyones so friendly and the cruises (esp. in Adelaide) are awesome... bunch of online champs

We all do silly things sometimes... its a new gauge and the needle is already slightly bent where it has been snapping back to 0psi.... cheap rubbish.... at least it looks great...

Benagiser's 1984 Nissan Pulsar

Well this is the cooler... should help the pinging and detonation a little.. now that were getting down to 5-6Degrees C here at night it performs so much better... 12-13psi from the Garrett T02 is weak, 12-13psi from the T25G (from red top nissan SR20DET) will pack sooooo much more punch... that arrives Saturday the 18th june 05.. cheers Gareth...

Garrett T25G .60 A/R Turbine and .80 A/R Cmpressor... big turbo for a little 1.5... its from the Nissan SR20DET.. going to spool up about 3200-3400 and hit with a real rush.... YEAH!!! i would like to see 110-125kW's at the front wheels with this, my intercooler and a very good tune...

Benagiser's 1984 Nissan Pulsar

Old E15ET motror on the floor. this is actually my brothers motor but since its out i'm using it for space and setup requirements for my new setup.

Benagiser's 1984 Nissan Pulsar

Twin Turbo E15 perhaps....??? i could use the little T02 for lowdown 0-7psi (0-2800rpm) boost and the Big T25G for hight end boost... will require some fancy pipework and external wastegates... probably not worth it though......

Here are the bits and pieces of my turbos. There is a T28 BB core with comp cover, and a U11 T25 and the S14 T25G... Note the A/R .80 on the T25G and the A/R .60 on the T28... this highlights the difference in compressor design over the years, and also why some people mistake the T25G for a T28... i'll build up one turbo from all these parts.. Will scream like no other and have a very sweet flutter through my custom ASE BOV and intercooler.

Japanese E15E Intake manifold.. Lucky to find this as we dont get the E15E in australia. its either Turbo EFI or N/A Carbie.. It will be fantastic for my turbo E15ET as it does away with all the stupid 6 foot of useless inlet track and puts all the sensors and polution gear in the MUCH larger plenum. Means i can have the clean inlet for Max boost and Awesome turbo sound AND keep it legal.. BONUS!

Benagiser's 1984 Nissan Pulsar

Was fitting the cooler. tryed to make the brackets but cant do much with the bumper skin on. couldn't take picture as i had to hold it in place.... but you can all use your imagination.....

Benagiser's 1984 Nissan Pulsar

Going multi-media.... I didn't know what to do with the 5-pin mini-din plug on the LCD as it is out of date and cant be found in Aus easily.. so i have to re-wire the audio, video, and sound... I sent an email to 'Lilliput' and told them my intentions (you should probably never tell an electonics company you want to open up their product and fiddle with it) but a very helpfull technition sent me the info i needed by way of a sketch. how good is that?. The service from them was fantastic.. i'm so very happy with the outcome.. 10 out of 10 Lilliput...!

More interior shots.. Quality is bad, but i was in a hurry.. Will take better pic when i get some time. Also a tree in my Driveway fell down and almost crushed my car.. so was a bit hecktic to day.. ;-)

Well these are my new rims. i'm having trouble fitting them on the back cause they are a little wide... on the front they just scrape the gaurds.. i'm gonna get them lipped asap i think....

BIG update..! T25G is on...!!! page 2 for details...

Benagiser's 1984 Nissan Pulsar

Well... i've been driving it for a while and now that it doesn't Ping or Knock i can give it a little kick in the guts.. pushing only 10psi i've been reving the engine to 8000rpm... little scary in a car only designed to do 6000rpm.. but it has been fun.. i'll probably get a stage 3 cam made up and some double valve springs. should be a little demon soon..

5mb MOV Video reving to over 7500rpm:

I've started (and now finished) my large intercooler installation.

This is a nissan EGI manifold that happened to fit. gives a larger plenum and cool dual butterfly throttle body. It also incorporates all the anti polution gear as well as the idle control and cold start. so its going to replace the useless log setup on the original engine.

Basically the finished product including my battery cut off switch and my Top Gun Racing 10mm ignition leads. Next up is the installation of my Mitsubishi brakes (similar to the Galant VR4 266mm vented brakes), 40% larger than the EXA brakes, and to start my twin turbo manifold.

This is the new eddition to the family. its a 1987 N12 Nissan Pulsar ET Turbo 9a four door exa if you will) This car runs 140kw's at the front wheels through a nissan E15ET engine, Garrett T25 turbo, supra intercooler, 2.5" exhaust and a Wolf3D V500..!!!

All of the good parts from this car will be going into the exa, ie, BOV, Computer, steering wheel, rear suspension and swaybar, 17" wheels and the Profec B boost controller. When the exa is finished it should run 12's all day and handle and stop well on the track with the coilover suspension and larger mitsubishi vented brakes.

Hey man!
Hows the ET coming along?
I was just wondering, is there anywhere in Adelaide that CUSTOM FABRICATE extractors (like for my Scoupe). Becouse i would like a set of 4-1 extractors for it.
Let us know!
John

Hey hey.

WOW. All that boost into an n12 hahaa. That will be insane! Yeah, sounds good for sure!
And you may wont to leave some money aside for all those tyres you are likely to go through hahaa. Not to mention for all that fuel that will be used (i.e. from the extra injectors and turbos):P !!!

Yeah, let us know (on this username, as the other one was my test user name) when it gets a bit closer to finishing. It should be somthing else i must say.
Yeah, good luck and thanks for your knowledge on the Top Gun Leads!:)

Yours truely,
Street__Cruiser

p.s. Check out my Hyundai Scoupe sometime(on this username)

OHH, SOUNDS GOOD!
TWIN TURBO N12. MAn, that will be wicked. I cant imagine how that would go.Since its a small engine, How are you going to reduce the turbo lag? Or are you just going to use smallish turbo's?
SHOULD BE AWSOME TO SEE!
Anyway, i ahve just one more question on the TOP GUN Leads. Did you notice on the box it says "keep away from metal to aviod breakdown" or somthing like that. Are yours touching or close to touching metal (even a little bit)? BEouse i cant figure out how you can avoid it, at the same time, how it can damage the leads.
Anyway, HAve a good one, I will look forward to seeing more work done on you exa in the future
Drop us a line man!

Have a good one!
