*Update* (09/12/05) It seems the radiator cap that fits "all toyotas" doesn't fit my MR2, so I put it on my TC instead. I also just put on the new greddy weighted shifter, which amazingly does make it easier to shift. Nothing else exciting going on, work has been really slow so money hasn't been as abundant as usual this past month.
*Update* (08/26/05) I have a new greddy shift knob, and radiator cap in the mail. I also put in a new Red Top Optima battery to better handle the new system. I know "big deal" but I've been spending lots of money on furniture, etc. for my new apartment, it's all I can afford for now.
*Update* (08/07/05) I just bought Hydraulic Hood lifts for both the engine lid, and the front hood. I was tired of dealing with old hood props. I'm hoping I'll be getting my car back with all of the new audio equipment in it so I can put these in, then I can take some pics for everybody.
*Update* (06/19/05) I pulled out my amp rack and sub, and installed the equipment in my girl's civic. I've bought all the new stuff for my car, but I haven't put it in yet. I'll post pics as soon as it's all put together.
*Update* (05/05/05) My headers finally came in today. I also went out and bought a new Scion TC. I plan on using that as my daily driver so I can play more with my MR2.
*Update* (12/21/04) I just replaced my KYB shocks with Tokico Adjustables. I also replaced my old 16" Konig Traffiks, with 17" Nex-O NX-7's. I also had the rubber piece break off my clutch pedal so I got some RAZO Carbon Fiber pedal covers so that my foot doesn't slip all over the place if there's any moisture on it.
Here's a pic of my new wheels.
*Update* (11/10/04) I've only been able to do a few minor improvements, since I've had to replace all of my seals and my oil pan. But, I replaced the weapon R intake with an HKS Super Megaflow. I'm not really sure if it's actually added anything to the performance, but it's definitely much higher quality. I've also replaced my sony head unit with a new pioneer, and switched from the AVS 100s to Kuhmo Supras. Thats it for now, nothing too impressive I know. I'm still hopeful for something a little more significant soon.
*UPDATE* (1/29/04) I noticed that my rotors were starting to crack about a month ago, so I called powerstop and complained. They said they'd get me a replacement set as soon as possible. After waiting a full month, I finally got some rotors in the mail. For whatever reason they sent me Powerslot rotors instead. Oh well. So, today, I installed the new rotors and went ahead and painted my callipers red at the same time. I really need some money. I'm craving more speed. Hopefully soon.
*UPDATE* (5-17-03) I just had Mahdave Motorsports put in my clutch (Clutchmaster fx 100). Next on the list are some cam gears, if I can find them in stock somewhere.
*UPDATE* (3-7-03) Somebody scraped my car up really bad about a week ago. I just got her back from the paint shop yesterday. I kept the same color, but I went ahead and painted all the molding. I think it looks much cleaner now. Anyways, don't forget to sign the guest book.
I purchased my '91 N/A MR2 in June of 2001. Since then, I have made some minor changes to it. After innitially investing a good bit of time and money on my original engine, I threw a rod over Thanksgiving weekend (2001) creating a 4" hole in its side.
Here's a pic after I had only done the paint.

Here's a shot of my engine.

I originally put the intake directly onto the manifold. But because of how it's built, the intake and radiator hose are right against eachother. To reduce that friction, and hopefully also cool down the air, I went ahead and used the elbow from the stock intake.
The only performance mods I've done on this engine are:
Hot Shot Headers
Denso IK16 Iridium Power Plugs
HKS Super Mega Flow Intake
NGK 8mm wires
Greddy SP Dual Tip Exhaust
Clutch Masters FX100
Here's the old pic of my engine.
I had been running on a set of Konig Traffik Wheels (only 16" to keep a smoother ride while still improving handling) wrapped in Kuhmo Ecsta Supra tires. I also had a set of Powerstop crossdrilled Rotors to keep my pads (Kelsey-Hayes semi-metallic) cooler. I also put in a set of Eibach's Sportline Springs along with their camber kit, and KYB's AGX gas shox to get rid of some of that body roll so I can really enjoy the power slides.

Here you can see my rotors peeking out from behind my old rims and tires.
Although my sound system has changed many times, my current set-up is:
Infiniti Kappa 6.5" components
Kenwood KDC-X769 Head Unit
Polk Momo 500 Watt Monoblock Amplifier
2 10" Polk MOMO 2104 subs
Monster .5 Farad Capacitor
Monster 4ga Wiring
Rockford Fosgate 60-amp Fuses
Red Top Optima Battery
This is temporary, I plan on fiberglassing this before its over with, but I ran out of time before nopi, so I just threw some fabric over the bondo.
This is how it used to be.

This shot shows the digital readout for my alarm. You can also see the little bit of interior work I've done. I have put in custom MR2 floor mats also, but you can't really tell that from the pic. It's not much, but I like it.
I have begun to modify my lighting with:
APC H4 Diamond Cut Lenses
RAZO Premium White H4 bulbs
APC Type S Fog Lights
JDM clear corners (amber bulbs to stay legal)
To protect it all, I had Alpine's SEC-8063 Digital Remote Control Security System installed along with the SEC-8346 Dual Sector Digital Radar Sensor.

Here's a rear shot of her. You can see my Greddy exhaust hangin' down there.

Here's another pic.
