I took masking tape and put it on the kick panel area and then covered it with tin foil to get the contour of the kick and floor area. Next I took some mat and resin and made the mold. After it dried I took mat and made another layer for support.

Here is my speaker ring for my 5 1/4 inch crystal component set along with will be the grill insert.
