Here is a listing of the equipment that was placed in my 2000 Chevy malibu.
Head Unit : Kenwood Excelon PS909

Rear Doors: Lanzar AS65 6.5" Mid Bass

Sub: 1 Boston Acoustic Pro Series 10"
Cap: Soundquest 1 Farad
The 1" Tweeters were placed in the door toward the front off axis firing toward the dash slightly. I played around with all different possiblities before mounting and found the MB Quarts were too bright to be placed on axis in the kick panels.
The doors were modified to hold the 4" and the 5.25 midbass and lined with dynamat. The rear doors were lined with dynamat and modified to hold Lanzar 6.5" midbass to get better midbass response in the car.
The subwoofer in the car was a transmission line enclosure for one boston pro series 10" that at 200 watts provides plenty of low end while not overpowering the higher end frequencies.
