Stang2Man's 1973 Ford Mustang The car that started it all. Our Dad bought this car off of my Grandpa in 72 shortly after my parents got married. Car went into storage in 87 taken out of storage in 97 when the Ohio river got up to our garage, and put a new carb on, you see those results.
Stang2Man's 1973 Ford Mustang This is my 73 Mach 1. Originally equipped with a 351C 2v, After backing the car into the garage easily the engine let loose. I had planned on rebuilding the Cleveland, later bought a 302 to stick in it. Instead installed that 302 in my little brothers 78, seen below. But I ran across an old dirty tracker that had a Boss 302, he wanted to get rid of, I needed an engine, he needed some cash, It sure does look pretty in there now.
Stang2Man's 1973 Ford Mustang A pair of deuces. The Cobra on the right is a 78 and my first II. I bought her in 97 before I went on a rampant purchase of parts/cars. 302 C4 this car will flat haul, and it sounds good. The Ghia on the left is a 78 as well, I've got something for 78's. 302 C4, it's pretty tame compared to the Cobra but it's still a great ride to enjoy on anyday. Plus with just over 66,000 miles it's kind of a nice piece to have.
Stang2Man's 1973 Ford Mustang Chad's 78. What a car. Originally equipped 302 C4, still what it has, the 302 in there now is out of a Ranchero, very torquey motor. But the new crate motor is sittin in the garage. That will be a very hot motor, unfortunately GT40P heads wont' work on a Mustang II cuz of having to get special headers that no one even makes.
Also in the background of that pic are Dad's 88 GT, another awesome stang, been used many times to scare the hell out of people until you get to the point it's ready to shift to 5th, hehe.
And behind that is my older brothers 77 Ghia, with full length headers and 8 inch glasspacks, that little suckers packs a punch, I've been kicked out of a few cruising spots for burning the tires in that car. oops, fun car to learn to drive in though.
Stang2Man's 1973 Ford Mustang Dont' let the four doors fool you. At factory 220HP at the motor this car was a rocket, I knew the first time I test drove it I had to have it. My best time at the strip, the only time I went was a 15.8. Respectable for a bone stock factory four door. Besides the car would run 135mph easy. BTW crown vics top out at 138, hehe.
Stang2Man's 1973 Ford Mustang My T-top. Original 302, C4 car. I bought with no motor or tranny. I had plans of droppin in a 302 with a 5spd, still unsure of those plans, I've even contemplated a 3.8 swap with a procharger. Too many ideas I'd say
