1st Gen Windblocker
I was staring at the cockpit brace, contemplating a DIY windblocker, when I realized the distance between the brace & the shelf looked close to the width of the scraps I after left over from framing a kitchen door. Actually, it turned out to be exact.

Cut it to (IIRC)35 1/8", and added a couple L-brackets from Radio Shack. The bracket is screwed into the wood, and uses the existing boot Tennex to bolt to the interior - no drilling.
This is actually pretty effective - your hair will still get mussed, but it keeps the warm air in, and is virtually unnoticeable, especially after I painted it black. Also provides a good place for the CB speaker.
I recently made a more traditional Lucite version which is a bit higher - no pics yet. And nike's replacement now sports an OEM NB windblocker - Modified, of course, to fit behind the HDX2, by flipping its brackets sid-to-side.
OMP Pedals
Why OMP? Two reasons - the clutch pedal is chamfered to ease left-foot braking, and the brake pedal has a lip to prevent the right foot from getting caught under it. Practical benefits. One oddity - I mounted the gas pedal upside-down to align better with the brake pedal.
Door Handle Retrofit
I've always felt the armrests in the '90-93 & '96-97 weren't appropriate, looking more like something that belongs in an econobox. Besides, with my relatively long legs & splayed-out driving position, the handle rubbed against my left thigh. So I scarfed up a pair of the '94-95 grab handles (from someone who was doing the opposite!), which are round in cross-section and allow more knee room. Each uses two of the three mounting points from the armest. I covered over the indentation and extra hole with a piece of lucite, painted black.
