The only modifications it came with was the Silvia grill (which looks so much better than stock), the "tinted" yellow headlights, and the "custom" paint job on the front lip (green with white made to look like scratches).

The first thing I had to do was upgrade my speakers. The car had some really worn out Clarion 6.5s (stock) all the way around and were so bad that the foam that connects the cone to the edge of the speaker was completely worn away. When I pulled my door panels off, a bunch of dust from the deteriorated foam came flying out. They were so bad that I couldn't hear them over the stock exhaust without seriously distorting. So I replaced them with Polk Audio 6.5s. They sound pretty good. Not my favorite speaker but it fit my budget and its definitely a step up.

The next thing was my tail lights. I'm not a big fan of the orange on the sides and I'm not ready to pay the $400+ for kouki tails so I took it upon myself to experiment a little. I went and bought some House Of Kolor Kandy Red and Klear Koat spray paint ($15 total). I removed my tail lights and masked over the reverse lights. Then I lightly sanded (2000 grit) the corners and center section. Then I sprayed the lights with the Kandy with even coats until I was satisfied with the color. Then I put a few coats of Klear and that was it. Reinstalled and then I had a "custom" look. Very easy to do and did it all in an evening.

A friend of mine found a really nice deal on a R200 LSD and I just couldn't pass it up (mine had an open diff). I spent $100 on the LSD itself and another $80 for the Infinity J30 axles and I did all the work myself. A reasonably easy swap to do even without a lift. Love the results.

The same friend had bought a front strut bar for his s14 off ebay and told me what a huge difference it had made in his handling so I decided to follow suit. The bar only cost me like $25 shipped to my door and even though its not the "Cusco" or "Nismo" quality, it serves its purpose. And it definitely made a big difference.

I also recently installed an HKS Hi-Power exhaust. Seeing as my future plans are to turbo this motor, I decided to go with more of a turbo exhaust. It's the 85mm piping and 120mm tip. It sounds nice and I noticed a substantial difference in power after installing. Installation was pretty straight forward. Thankfully I had a lift to use for this. The stock exhaust was easy to remove with the exception of one stubborn rusted on nut where the exhaust connected to the cat.

At the same time I installed the cat-back I also installed my new Megan Racing Coilovers. I still have to play around with the settings a little but I already love them. They are a bargain at $900. Having done coilovers on my friends S14 before, mine were really easy with impact tools.

I installed a new Nardi 350mm steering wheel with Momo hub and FET quick release. The "special tool" thats required to remove the airbag was a little hard to find but once it was out, the rest is pretty straight forward. Now, all I have to do is go to Radio Shack (or look around work as I'm and Electronics Technician in the Navy) and get some buttons to mount to operate my cruise control. I don't use it that often so I'm in no rush to do that.

The last thing I've done was install new wheels and tires. Originally I wanted to go with the 18x8.5+25 and 18x9.5+30 Nismo LM-GT4s but didnt realy see the point in spending $2000 or more on just the wheels. So instead I went with a wheel thats new this year (so you won't see too many of them). Its the Motegi Racing Touge wheel in a 17x9+25 all the way around. Fitment is really good...actually a lot better than I expected. I wrapped them in some 235/45R17 Nankang tires. They were cheap but I figured what the hell since I'm probably going to tear them up pretty quick anyway gettin sideways.

I hope to hit up a few drift events in ther near future...that is when I finish my 5 speed swap. The only thing left to get is the transmission itself and thats being shipped as we speak. I've already got the pedals, master and slave cylinders, all the lines, ECU, Exedy Stage 1 clutch, Flywheel, crossmember, driveshaft, shifter, and my Nismo GT shift knob. Ooh...can't wait for that!

Here's just a few misc. pics.

in all honesty i got the 200 cuz i was at the dealer looking around for another car & i noticed some guy looking at it. for some reason i just didnt want him to have it so in the end i got it. i had a 92 240 coupe but i sold that to pay for a semester of college, i miss that car. i only sold the 240 instead of the 200 cuz there was a higher demand for the 240. i babied the hell outta that car. as for the 200 future plans are for the engine, nothing fancy maybe just hs header and hs intake a new exhaust magnaflow or stromung and a polished valve cover
