New updates: the car has the original 305 TPI but I upgraded to a 350 TPI camshaft. I changed the car over from an automatic to a 5-speed standard shift. The car has all diamond cut front lights with HID's. 17" triple chrome plated IROC wheels with 245-45-17 tires on all four corners, the car has 2" drop springs from intrax. The car was repainted the original color which is flame red off an 88 iroc.

FINALY NEW PICS!!

heres the car stripped down and rocking the 14" ralleys out back

i got the tires on the wheels yesterday (3-14-06) also ran up to summit racing and picked up some intrax 2" lowering springs. i think im going to replace the shocks in the front tomaro though. but today when i got home from school me and dad put the springs in, replaced the brake lines in the front and put the wheels and tires on. by the time we got done it was dark and i couldnt get any good pics but ill get some tomaro. heres some of the wheels and springs.
some of the better pictures i have of the car taken awhile ago.

heres the wheels

heres the springs

we got the wheels on last night and the springs in. heres some pics of the car in daylight.

HERES THE PICS OF SUNDAYS SHOOTOUT meet at renolds for GAFBA(3-19-06). i ran a best of 15.3@88mph which was pretty good i thought. i also won 1st place in the 14 sec and slower class.
heres a couple of me racing dad. i beat him everytime. but in the first pic i had a bad start but the second pic shows me dusting him, these two are the same run!

heres a couple shots of meeting up at matts house to drive to byron

heres pictures of everyone at byron. there were 6 3rd gens and no 4th gens which i thought was pretty cool.

and heres some from the track. theres one pic in there of me owning chris burlison off the line in his eclipse. and also a couple pictures of dad in the chevelle.

here are some pictures of the car that show the stance of the v6 springs i cut to lower the car. they ended up being to low b/c i forgot to take into effect of them settling

here are some of the new headlights and parking lights

just changed out the fog lights today. im very pleased with the turnout the new lights are blazer fog lamps from wal-mart. i mounted them behind a mesh grill that is behind the iroc grill. ive been wanting to do this for a while and finally got around to it today. the lights are way brighter than the stock fogs but i havent adjusted them yet.

heres a comparison:

heres a pic of the mod i did the other day it is the black paint around the camaro grill. it is the widemouth mod like on the japaneese camaro. i did it b/c i wasnt worried about the paint b/c it will be getting repainted soon.

the clear sidemarkers i made. i should have taken more pics b/c everyone is curious to how i did it. but im going to keep it a secret. this pic also shows how much lower it is. me and my dad got some v6 springs and cut the down to lower it. the stance looks great imo but i think i will lower the back a little more.

pic of the wheels i got for christmas. their on there way from cali cant wait to get them here and on the car. they are the 85-87 style iroc wheels but they are 17's and tripple chrome plated. probably going to run kumho tires not sure yet. ill get pics up asap of them on the car :)

update 2-15-07 working on these lights. i got the sidemarkers and parking lights in now working on the headlights. heres a write up i did on the euro headlights:
i finished it up earlier this afternoon, well the low beams anyway. i have everything done i just gotta put in the high beams. but ill try and explain how i did everything to better help you guys at home ive never done a writeup b4 so lmk if theres anything you dont understand or have questions about.
first of i cut out the backs of the metal housings that the actual lights sit in. heres a couple pics. i cut them pretty big b/c the problem is more the "city light" than the different plug on the headlights.

make sure you cut the bottoms out more than the tops b/c of that city light, that thing really gets in the way and you have to cut the metal housing for the lgiht to sit in it and not have the city light permitting the light to slip all the way into the housing. i cut them pretty big and it was still a tight fit see.

all you really need is the front part of that metal piece so dont worry about cutting it really close to the correct size, notize how i cut my hole very big so i did not have to keep going back and recutting?
then just put everything back together the way you took it out. i scratched up my headlight pockets a little trying to get the headlight adjustment screws in there. there should be two adjustments per headlight one on top and one on the side. the side ones are what scratched mine so just be really careful. also b4 you instill the metal trim piece that goes on top of the actual headlight put them in a vice and str8ten out the little tabs on the bottom, these are on the bottom of each trim piece and are kinda hard to get to b/c of the headlight pocket being right there so make them str8 so it is easier to screw them in and actually have them hold on. now this was alot more time consuming than i thought it would be but i also had the new paint to be careful with which caused me a good bit more time probably.

heres a comparison with them on. the new lights are on the left. MUCH brighter and the light is also more crisp and white. this is with the stock harness i have not installed the apc harness yet also these are the stock bulbs that came with the lights.

----------------------------------------------------------
HERES SOME PICS OF THE WINDOW TINT AND VIPER ALARM. THE TINT IS 20%.
i put the b4 pics on the left and after on the right so you could actually see the it was a big difference

here are some pics of the viper alarm system. im very pleased with it. it has trunk release, keyless entry, an alarm and a led that flashes when the alarm is activated. later on down the road i will probably install a remote start to go with it.
below are pics of the antenna.. this thing gets some range

bellow is the led for the alarm

and this is the key fob which i have wanted to have on my key ring for a very long time. now i wont ever have to unlock my doors manually again...

---------------------------------------------------------------
UPDATE NEW SYSTEM!!
this page is for the stereo ive got alot of time and money in this stereo system but i installed it all myself. the system consists of two 10 inch kicker cvr's. pioneer 4x6's and cheap pyle 6x9's untill i can buy new ones. the amp is a profile ap2000, 2000 watt amp i installed it with the 4 gauge power and ground wire. the headunit as of now is a sony CDX-M800 very very nice deck in my opinion. when closed it shows bunch of different graphics. and when open has the slick silver face. also it does a full 180 degree rotation when opening and closing.
pictures of the amp i got an amazing deal on this thing but i will keep it a secret.

pictures of the subs... kicker 05 model CVR's

and here is the custom install done by... me of course. i was shooting for a very clean install/setup. i didnt want anything flashy just plain jain but still nice looking and very clean with no wires showing or anything.
as far as the install goes first i made a piece of mdf board, pulled up the carpet in the back laid the board down where i wanted the amp. laid the carpet back over it screwed the amp to it. cut little slits in the carpet for the wires to comethrough directly beside the amp. i then wired it all up and bam done.. running the wires was definitely the most time consuming part b/c i didnt want to see any wires at all.

and i can still use the t-top bag. although i dont blare the subs too loud with the tops in the back like that but it is still functional. what i did was removed the hooks from the carpet remounted them on the mdf board that i used to bold down the amp. i removed the hooks from the back of the car, in the holes of the plastic piece in the very back, and mounted them on the box. and i can still use the bag. i put the bag under the box so when im not using the bag it isnt cluttering the hatch area and when i want to pull the tops i pull out the box and stow them in the bag. but i rarely ever take the tops off.

heres the headunit. its a sony CDX-M800
open
closed
now the tweeters these things helped a bunch with the treble.... i have now removed them and in place is a double gauge pod.

the custom made box that my uncle gave me

this is my old setup. installed by me. this was my first sub/amp install i think it turned out very nice.

----------------------------------------------------------
HERE ARE PICTURES OF THE INTERIOR i havent done much to it yet b/c it is in very good shape but heres what i got so far.
just did redid the headliner this weekend. also added the overhead console and deleted the sunvisors which makes the headliner look 100 times better. its not perfect but was a huge improvement, but i didnt take any b4 pics. i am probably going to redo it next winter

here are the 4th gen seatbelts i installed. they work so much better than the old ones i highly recommend these

heres the shifter i made. it is out of a newer model pontiac. it is no longer in there b/c i put a B&M megashifter in it.

here is a little touch i did to the gauges i really like how it turned out. i also put all red lights in the cluster so at night it lights up red! very nice looking. i was actually inspired to do this b/c my grandma's 89 lesabre LOL had red gauge lights and i really liked them.

and lights on...

this is the trunk area b4 the system.

---------------------------------------------------------------
HERES A COUPLE OF THE ENGINE BAY
UPDATE!! the new motor is in. it is an older model 4 bolt main 350 block. i put GMMP 350 horse power crate motor heads on it. also put on a holley street dominator intake manifold. ive got a holley 650 double pumper on it tuned to my setup. new flywheel, new oil pan, new rear main seal, im still running the edlbrock headers, chrome valve covers, wire looms and chrome air cleaner. i put a comp XE-268 cam in it also put in a dacco 2300-2500 lockup stall converter in.also have an accel billet distributor. i have some sphon LCA relocation brackets and a adj. panhard rod but i havent put them on yet. also have some 3.42 gears and posi carrier but havent put those in yet either. right now its rockin the open dif. 2.73 rear. its really dirty right now so dont look at the dirt

when we first brought it home.

after a little cleaning

finally the headers are done. it took me awhile to do but it is done now. i also changed the valve seals, and put a brand new distributor in b/c my old one crapped out. i also got a cutout and got it welded in after the y-pipe from the headers. this thing sounds awesome now for a stock motor.
heres the headers. they were used and a little rusted when i got them but i sanded em down and painted them with high temp paint.

i just did a full tune up. 8mm cut to fit wires tucked away nicely with some centerbolt wire looms. chrome centerbolt valve covers. and of course the headers are in.

the ground clearence is also very very good although my car still scrubs over big speedbumps b/c it is so low.

heres the cutout. i had the bolts welded to the cutout so i can just turn the wing nuts alot easier. it is in place of where the cat used to be.. i also removed all of the emmisions and that garbage.

heres the y-pipe it is in kinda rough shape i sanded it a good bit and i wanted to get it powdercoated but i cant really afford it right now so ill do that later.
