This page is dedicated to my never ending project Miata. The Miata (or Roadster) is what I think the best all around racing platform. This means a car that with a few mods performs perfectly on street racing, Autocross, circuit racing and Drag racing.

I bought my first Miata in December 1998 after been graduated from University.
This is a 1.6 Liter 1993 model, I bought it because it was very well maintained and had only 20K original miles.

The car was always thought as a racing platform.

The first big decision was installing a supercharger o turbo kit. After 8 years using Turbo on a stock Miata engine, I can recommend it to everyone. Just make sure to use the right oil, right fuel management, right boost level and right drivetrain. More on the engine mods on the next page.
I use a Sport Hard Dog antiroll bar for safety. I also upgraded the suspension, Koni adjustables shocks with Eibach springs.
I am using "Axxis Ultimate" performance pads on the front and rear, still brake fade after 3 laps on the circuit though, brakes will definitively my next upgrade.
I am now using PZero C semi-slick tires, 205/45ZR16 on the front and 225/45ZR16 on the rear.
I think finding the right wheel for the miata is definitively not an easy task.
I bought some 16x7 BBS RX wheels at first, then changed them for 16x7 Panasports, they weighted less and looked fantastic with the Miata body. I just added what I think is the most aggressive wheel for the Miata, 16x8 Sportmax 002, Zero Offset!

These wheels and 225/45R16 tires will not fit on the Miata NA body. I bought a set of "Racing Lifestyle`s" flares and cutted the fenders.
