As you will see in the photo's that follow, the car is essentially stock (it's hard to improve on Mazda's impecable design and engineering!). However, there is one notable exception ... the stylebar/windblocker is a one-off custom job designed and fabricated by me. I would appreciate hearing any and all comments, opinions, questions etc. from fellow enthusiasts; please let me know what you think.
********************************

Photo of prototype stylebar for 2001 Miata (Note - design features two removable plexiglass windscreens - a low and a high profile insert; high profile insert shown in this photo). Although it isn't clear in the photo, the entire area between and beneath the two hoops is also plexiglass.

Another shot of high profile insert (it really does cut down on wind turbulence appreciably)
View showing low profile insert in place.

Another shot of the new stylebar/windblocker design (low profile insert shown).

One approach to getting the front license plate out of sight (so far, no effect whatsoever on engine temperature).

Custom behind-the-seats storage pockets for CD's, papers etc. (note cell phone pocket just to the rear of the console armrest - handy!)

Stylebar/windblocker with high profile insert in place.

One more view.

Nothing special - just a photo taken on "Day 1" of ownership (March 2001).
