Honey B's History

I adopted HoneyB from some local Miata Club members. I test drove her and immediately made plans to have her. I pretty much knew I had to have a Yellow when I attended my first Deal's Gap event. There was just something magical in seeing about 5 or 6 of them together. They truly do sparkle and can be seen from such a great distance. Having been an owner of a 1992 Silverstone since buying one new (lucky), I was ready for a change. The idea of driving or owning anything else was out of the question. Having a new color and an unlimited set of modifications to choose from seemed to offer the best fit. So we cut a deal with the owners in October 1998 - the same month that J.R., my son, was born. I was very pregnant at the time, and knew that the car would not really be needed (although I could still drive a Miata while being eight months pregnant, you just need some motivation). I was not able to take delivery of the car until December 1998, which was OK for the most part. I was busy learning and doing new things and was happy to know that the car would eventually come home with me when the paperwork was clear on it.

The car has gotten many things to make it the ideal street car for me. I have no plans to put it on the track. Larry's White Knight is used for that purpose.
