Here's a pic of me at the strip on Street Night. The point of this night was to simulate street racing as much as possible, but in a safe environment. Only street cars were allowed to run, no timeslips, no e.t.'s, just a light to indicate which car won, open until 2 a.m. The MR-2 I raced was turbo charged with a t3/t4, upgraded intercooler, exhaust, blah, blah. I was running 1 bar(14.5 psi) on pump gas and street tires. The owner "called me out" as he was an ex-turbo Miata owner and wanted to see how our cars would stack up. Very cool guy, but nonetheless, he got spanked badly. Shoulda kept the Miata...
