To Answer A Few Questions:
Q1. Why V6, and not V8 nor V6 Turbo 3.8?
A1. This is not a drag car, it is a road course car, for fun. I wanted to keep the 50/50 weight balance of the RX-7, V8 would have ruined that. I also wanted to go carb'd, to make this simple, so turbo right now is not possible. I can experiment later when I have the $$$. My weight/hp ratio is around 12:1, which is BETTER than a Mustang Cobra, and almost the same as a Camaro Z28, so I am quite happy with it.
Q2. Why the Wing?
A2. As I mentioned in Q1, the car is set up for road course racing, and the downforce created by the wing helps in the turns. 1st gen RX-7's don't have much choice in the Wing dept, but I think this looks less obnoxious than it could, and fits the curves of the car.

4. Eibach Pro Kit Front Springs, Racing Beat Rear Springs, Tokico Illumina 5-way Adjustable Struts&Shocks, P-S-T Front Sway Bar, P-S-T Polygraphite Bushings All Around, Racing Beat Rear Sway Bar
5. Lock-Up Switch for the 200-4R
EXTERIOR MODS:
1. Erebuni 1st Gen RX-7 Body Kit
2. Chevy Black paint
3. Enkei RS-5 15" wheels, with Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 205/50/15 V-Rated tires
4. Black RS Version / Super High Technology Dual Aluminum Spoiler, with modifications to fit on the very small hatch
5. Fiberglass Hood with intake scoop
INTERIOR MODS:
Interior will be black and orange.
1. Black Tenzo R Rally Racing Seats
2. Orange M&R 5pt Cam-Lock Harnesses
3. Black MOMO Mod 80 Rally/Road Race Steering Wheel
4. Door Panels rebuilt from scratch, taking everything off but handles - orange midsection on doors
5. Orange/black Rear Interior
Right after conversion complete, needs some touch ups...
