Here is the most recent picture of my car, i will take some top down pictures later on this week and post them up. Check out more pics of the wheels on page 5.
Here is a older pic of my car, those are two of the Tampa Bay Storm Cheerleaders standing next to the Phatness. This was taken at the grand opening of a new Ed Morse MAZDA dealership in the New Port Richey, FL area. The dealership is setup really nice, and the people are really friendly. They are worth the extra 15 minute drive if your in the market for a new Mazda. (NOTE: Cheerleaders not included with purchase) hehee you wish.
Here is a Runabout 1st Run Fuel Lid, looks great, and uses all the factory hardware, very cool! RS inspired part! Domo!

Those who shall enter the Phatness, must pay respects to the motherland!!! Roadster Club Of Japan!!
Here is a shot of the Runabout Mirrors, you can order these from Japan with Leni @ MetroMotorsports.com
Here is the Garage Vary (Urethane) front Lip Spoiler. More aggresive than the factory R-Pkg lip, and installs in minutes. Got this from Joe @ Rspeed.net
About me and the Miata Passion. This is my 3rd Mazda MX5 Miata. Yes, im that crazy for these cars!!! This all started back in 1994 when i bought my first Miata at a local Mazda Dealership, it was the Black 1992 Special Edition with optional hardtop & BBS wheels.
Although I had already seen the Miata in the magazines, and on TV commercials, this was my 1st real encounter with them and i was very impressed to say the least.
The body lines of the car looked very similar to the 3rd Gen RX7, the low shoulder lines, and a small bulge above the engine on the hood. And such a compact car, it was like driving in a cockpit of a fighter jet.
After test driving this Miata for a few minutes i was HOOKED!! The short 1.5" throws of the shifter, a peppy engine, and nice exhuast note made it feel even more like the sports car i had to have. The car is balanced perfectly with its 50/50 weight distribution, and lightweight body (mine is at 2160Lbs, after some shaved weight), it is the most nimble car i have ever driven.
Fast forward....... more than 10 years later and now im on my third Miata, a 1996 Miata with 1.8L engine. I purchased this on 12/16/1999 from a dealer located in New Jersey, it only has 19,223 miles on the clock, im gonna make this my second car to keep the miles low!! This is my new "Passion for the Road" (Project Super Roadster), you can read on and see everything ive done to make my Miata more unique.

Welcome to
"PROJECT SUPER ROADSTER"
Just a quick heads up to those thinking this is an overnight project. It's Not, this has been more than 8 years in the making, building a car the way you like it takes lots of blood sweat and tears as they say! Here is an old picture of my Miata that was taken at the Daytona, FL Speedway back at the 2000 National Miata Rally (Victory Lane).

Here is my buddy Mark Gomez's 97 Miata on some 17" BBS wheels. This car only had 4000 miles on it when he bought it used!!! WOW!! what a cherry!!

Here are the sweet looking
Nielex Metal Parts straight from Japan, a front and rear tow hook, these pictures do no justice!!!
http://www.nielex.jp/ Domo Arigato to my friend Makoto in Japan for sending me these awesome parts!!
Here is a picture of the rear installed. You can also see the Tanabe Coilovers and Yokohama Race tires installed from this view.
Here is a picture of the front installed. (This is actually created to look like the authentic M2-1028 Roadsters Factory Tow Hook, how cool is that!!) Another reason I installed these is because the new ruling for SCCA makes a 2"-inch round tow hook "Required" for SCCA races in case your car needs to be removed from the track.
Here is a picture of an actual Front tow hook from a M2-1028 Roadster, you can see the Nielex is very similar.
Here is the Okuyama Front tow hook im currently running.

And here is the rear Okuyama tow hook.
Gone are these 17-inch GeWalt 3piece wheels from Japan, to be replaced with some sweet Mazda JDM Enkei Rims, Imported Direct from Japan!
Wow, just picked up the rims today......... what can i say, i cant wait to get some tires on these and go cruising!!

These are the rims from the Japanese Spec NR-A 2002 Mazda Roadster, from everything i have read there was less than 500 of the (Lightweight) NR-A Roadsters made, and they were never exported. This rim setup was a factory Upgrade From Mazda Japan!!
The rims are Mazda Factory 15" Enkei RP02-J's Painted in a Pearl White with Metallic Flake. The size is 15x7 (PCD 4-100) & 41 offset (Perfect for Miata) They are light too!! Notice the infamous "Enkei" Brand logo, Yummy!
Notice the sharp looking OEM Mazda Logo in the center cap!! Very Trick!! All Mazda Baby!!!
Wow those NR-A Roadster rims were so sweet, but i never had a chance against this sweet English Bulldog Puppy, i sold those rims for my new best buddy... Meet "Spanky" the Bulldog!
I got these Mirrors in from Japan, they are made from Carbon Fiber by Square Craft, the Housing is made from Carbon Fiber, and the mounting bracket is made from highly polished billet Aluminum. Truely a work of art. I weighed them on my postal scale and they came in at 8.9-oz you can visit their website for more cool Miata/Roadster Parts. Im thinking of selling these for a set of "Runabout" Vintage Mirrors. So if anyone wants a good deal on this Carbon Fiber ones please send me and email.

Here are the Mirrors fresh outta the box!! Look at the detail, they are supre high quality!!!
Here is a side shot of my new Craft Square Racing Mirrors Installed. They dont vibrate or distort your view like some of the other mirrors ive had in the past.
This is a nice shot of the new fuel door i got from http://www.finishlineperformance.com Very cool looking, 1st Gen. Miatas should have come with these from the factory.
Here is a closer shot of the fuel door.
KG Works 3 Brake Light Cover "Roadster"

Swaped out the Mazda Toilet seat front badge with this sharp looking Mazdaspeed version. Thanks goes out to Mike Townsend for giving me his as he decided to sell his.
Here is the new tires i got, they are the YOKOHAMA A032R's in 14-inch, i have them on the factory rims for track racing only. My 1st autocross with these scored me 7th place out of 48 cars!!!!! Yes they hook up!! With a low treadwear of 50, they hook up REALLY GOOD, they take corners like i was riding on rails!!! I have never been happier with a set of tires before!! YOKOHAMA IS THE SHIZZIOT!!!!!
Here are the few decals & Stickers you will find on my car, mostly Events or Miata Club Related, anything else to me is overkill. Thanks to Mike Fernandez a member of RCOJ for getting me the Roadster Club decals!! Thanks Bro!!
Gotta have an authentic JDM plate, this is a 50 series, which is correct for the Miata. The 5 or 500 series will work also. This one hangs from the wall in my garage.

Here is the plate i mounted on the car, its a 500 series, notice the Sapporo registration tab, hahahhaaha
Here is a shot of the KG Works offset license plate mounting bracket, for mounting front plates.

ROAD&STER ......... If you dont know, then you may never understand. :) Pick up a copy or get outta the way!!!!!
Installed a JDM "Roadster" Badge on the Garage Vary Rear Finisher piece, this one comes from the NCEC (2006 Miata) in Japan.
