My Sound System It all starts with the head unit, which in this case is an Eclipse 5441. While this isn't fancy, it gets the job done, and still has all the security that the higher end models have. Right below it is my Alpine ERE-G180 Equalizer. Since the MB Quarts can get harsh when it comes to the higher frequencies, this was a necessity. I had to fabricate the plae surrounding the EQ as they don't make one for this car. I am not all that good at this sort of thing, but I think it turned out alright. . . There is a few places where the paint isn't as glossy, but not too many people notice. BTW, sorry about the dust in the pic. I didn't think my camera would pick it up that well. For interior speakers, I went with MB Quart. While I am not exactly happy with the placement of these speakers, stupid installers didn't follow my request, they do sound very good. I have Mobil RSB 218 seperates in the front, and Mobil 160.03 kx coaxials in the rear deck. The trunk holds all the power in my car. It is showcased by the chrome PPI amplifiers from 1999. To power the interior speakers, I am using a PPI PC4400, which supplies 4x50 to each speaker, and for the sub I am using a PPI PC2400, which currently is only putting 200W to the Soloberic, the sub is 2 Ohm and the amp isn't 1 Ohm stable. As stated before the sub-woofer is a Kicker series D soloberic, the series right before they became square. This sub hits, and while is not all that obvious outside the car, it provides more than enough for me on the inside. Also in the trunk, an Eclipse 5083 8-disc changer. Up close pics of the Amps. . . The chrome is nice when polished. . . The 2400 can't really be seen too well because of how it is mounted.
