THE VETTE IN ITS SLOWER DAYS
This is my 1966 Corvette. The body is still the same...nothing special.

This is called my "money shot." This was taken after we pulled the engine out.
I wanted to get sidepipes, but I found out that they reduce your performance by about 30 percent. More than one vette specialist told me this. The car loses too much back pressure with just the sidepipe piping without mufflers.
These hubcaps are the rarest of all corvette years. I accidentally ripped one off while backing out of my garage. I had to buy a new one, and it cost me a lot of money! A whole new set of 4 would cost a little over a grand! They look nice, but they're a pain to take off and get back on when you have to put air in the tires. But I don't care, just as long as they make the car's value go up. Although, I am getting wider tires with new rims. They are the American Racing five spokes made for old american muscle cars.

This is the engine when it was pumping 360 horses. It had a high performance stage 2 cam and 2.02 camel hump heads. My brother and I pulled the engine cause we cracked BOTH heads. You can see what the engine looks like now on page 2.
This is the 650 holley double pumper carburetor that we had on the car. It is a great carb. But unfortunately it is a spread bore. So it didn't give the vette as much power as it could have had.
This is our B&M shifter. I used to have the original ball on it, but it started to fall off. The handle type B&M shifter gives me a lot more control when I have to shift hard.
There is nothing special about the dash except for the fact that it's original.
This picture is tight! It is when we were pulling the engine out to start modding it. My friend is crazy when it comes to taking pictures.
