My car is a 1984 Nissan 300ZX 50th Anniversary editon. It's a sweet car and had it since 1994.

I have reworked the Turbo to push out 12 psi's, put Dynomax exhaust on it, new fuel injector's, K&N air filter. Stock horsepower was 200HP, but I estimate my car is now around 275 ponies.

My sound system is set primarly for SQ. I hope to get pictures of it soon. Nothing wild, but just a clean, well maintained system that was entirely installed by myself.

A rundown of my system is as follows:

Headunit consists of the Eclipse 5303R. Great unit even for today's standards. This was the 1998-99 top line model from Eclipse.

From there signal runs into my PPI PAR-245.

This is a 5 band quasi-parametric equalizer. I can set my own frequencies and adjust the Q of each frequency. It can double the voltage from the source unit, and has a bass level adjustment and master volume knob. So with this unit I will control my volume levels for the system.

I am only using one set of inputs and one set of outputs from the PAR-245, and am not using the X-over network in it right now.

That's because the signal after the PAR-245 is fed to my Eclipse 2301 DSP/EQ Sound Processor. It's only one input with then 3 outputs: Front, Rear, and Sub.

It is a 7 band EQ, and 5 band DSP Sound Processor. All the signal is processed in true Digital Domain. Everything is controlled by the 5303R. It has a bunch user presets and I can manipulate the DSP sound fields to setting that I want. A truely awesome piece of equipment.
