G'day to all, This Is my Australian 1980 CM Chrysler Station Wagon complete with its 265 cuin HEMI 6 cylinder (yes they exist!!) Anyways this is both my daily driver & showcase of myself & My Older brother's abilities as it also doubles as a semi show car & rolling promotional vehicle for our Chrysler Restoration business!
The first pic is as I bought it a $400 EX ARMY bucket of rust, some 10 months of part time work & $11 grand (trade price of parts only not inc labor) for a strip down & full rebuild of the entire vehicle!
We rebuilt it a few years ago & it's nearly totally finished! We've Just got to add a rebuilt 360ci V8 Magnum backed with a worked A518 4 speed auto trans, sequential LPG (Propane) injection and supercharger to the engine in a few months time it should be good for 350+ RWHP Not bad for a daily driver with SFA fuel costs at the same time!! We'll also be updating it to twin spot brakes all way around with bigger discs as theres no way you update the power by twice as much as original & run semi stock brakes (we fitted a LSD Disc brake diff over the stock drums).
At that time it'll receive a freshen up & a full fibreglass front end & new fibreglass tailgate (we make them in house & are the largest manufacturer in oz of Australian replacement Chrysler parts & panels!) so with the front end & tailgate we'll have saved another 55 odd kgs of dead weight & help to improve it's daily drives! lol
We're both very proud of it & as you can imagine it turns heads EVERYWHERE it goes! :) The Chicks love the color (Cant go anywhere without getting asked 50+ questions!) Its a Pearl metallic called BLUEPRINT! It Really does Look the goods & soon it'll have the balls to go with it!
Oh & the Plates Read CMTONV = CM TO eNVy & let me tell ya quite a few already do envy it! :)
Anyway More pics of it & some more AUSTRALIAN Chrysler's can be found HERE
& Our website inc project pics etc & the entire range of our ever growing fibreglass components can be found here : www.gprsmopars.com
Cheers
