A couple years ago I ripped off my 2 1/2 Flowmaster catback and installed a 3" Borla with adjustable plates. Only complaint is for the money you get shitty tips and the system ends 6 inches before the cat. Meaning you have to reuse the last 6 inches of your old system and weld it on the the Borla sytem so you can connect to your cat. Its also not as loud or deep as my Flowmaster was outside the car event though I run with no plates. So I would have to say if you want this system make your own. Its now like $529. You could probably put together your own for half that. And its pretty simple.

As you can see these are ss zr1 style 4th gen 17x9 wheels. Yes I did need adapters to make them fit. I used 1.25" adpaters in the front and 2.25" in the rear. Rear wheels don't stick out much further than my old 16x8's did with that size adapter. Fronts stick out slightly further than original. The 4th pic shows that I had to cut the plastic inner fender liner and dremel off a corner of the fender because the tire would rub. It got to the point where oneday the tire grabbed the corner of the fender and bent it.

For tires I went with Sumitomo HTR ZII's. I really liked the tread design.
For the fronts I went with a 255's and the rear I went with the bigger 275's. I have had the SS wheels and these tires for like 4 years now and the tires have worked out pretty good. Still have a lot of tread and they hook pretty decently too.

Those are SLP (Pieces of shit) 1 3/4" headers. They were expensive, built and welded like shit and none of the flanges were straight. If I were to guess I would have to say they use blind child labor to construct these things. The flanges were actually twisted. I had to have them machined to get them to fit half way decent. Don't buy SLP products. I had other problems with their other products too. Their customer service sucks just as bad.

They are coated by Air Born coatings which is local here in Charlotte. I recommend them. They were a lot cheaper than some of the other coating companies out there when I had mine done a couple of years back. Coating has held up great and works and looks awsome. Check them out.

The only other decent mod I did under the hood was put on AS&M runners and port the plenum. The runners are constructed very well and look great. Wish my Slp headers were made even a quarter as good as my runners were. They are nice and smooth inside and don't have any obstructions in the openings like those headers did and the tubes actually lined up with the flanges. Awsome runners.

Oh Yeah, Don't buy Made for You centerbolt wire looms if you are keeping all your smog crap on. As you can see I wasted $30. They work pretty good on the drivers side but on the passenger side I really couldn't use them at all. Too much stuff in the way.

One day I an going to get rid of the A/C. It hasn't worked for over two years and I really don't miss it. Thats what t-tops are for. I'll probably take it out when I start my LS1 swap.
