Hey Everyone! (Updated 10-01-04)

This is NOW the page on my 2004 Pontiac Aztek. I traded in my 2001, gutted it...and now concentrating on my new 2004 baby girl.

Most of the install is done. Everything is working fine...and now I'm going through the first few weeks of listening, tuning, and getting everything set right.

Well, I solved the noise problem. I turned on the high pass filter on the front pre-outs on the HU...and plugged them directly into the Blue Thor (amping the highs).

No noise...no humm, no whine, no hiss...nothing...pristine quiet when the volume is all the way down. Looks like it was the coustic xm-3 causing the noise the whole time!!

Here's what I have left to do with everything else:
- Finish the power upgrade of the 'Big 3'
- Dampen the interior rear panels from vibration.

Seriously, though...the Aztek is a phenomenal vehicle. Tons of room, V6 that gets 25 MPG, rides like a caddy...and the black ones look especially badass. (especially with the taillight blackouts)

This summer, my goals are simple:
1. New Dynomax or Flowmaster Muffler.
2. Gut the airbox. (DONE.)
3. Install K&N Filter. (DONE.)
4. Install Sound: (DONE.)

Nice, that's a cool sound setup and yeah, definitely looks bad ass all in black. Did you blacked out the taillights with a film or paint?? I'm looking for a smoked look like yours for my silver "Off Road" Aztek.Nice Tek bro.
