This was Boop 1 I bought it in 1990 as an old cargo van for work and did the body up and painted it. I had 15x7 and 15x8in white wagon wheels with spoke baskets inside them and trim rings to finish them off. Tires were 195.60.15fr. and 225.60.15ba. radial T/As and the wing was from our 1987 fiero we sold.
This van came equipped with a 4cyl. 5 speed standard, and for a 4cyl. it did a good job.
I painted it solid white with an A&A skirt package and blacked out the side windows and also tinted most of the front winshield.
The small 267 V8 came in later. I traded a guy a radar detector for his car.
I used the V8 and the 350 turbo trans. but the gear ratio on the van was 4:10s so at a speed of 60mph the engine was doing 4000rpm and that wouldn't do. so I used the gears out of the car 2:40s which gave the van a nice cruising speed of 65mph at 2600rpm
This van was still an everyday work van till 1993.
