7/10/04 Update

Wow its been forever since I've actually updated this. I guess I've been so unindated with things to do it just slips my mind. Anyways enough with the excuses. I just got word today that my pistons/rods showed up and they were taken to the machine shop. All that I am waiting on now is for my crank to show up so everything can be checked and thrown in(i say it like its simple!) Here is what I've purchased for the rebuild so far:

1. Complete gasket rebuild kit
2. Complete 60k maintenence kit
3. Eagle H-beam forged rods
4. Wiseco .020 over forged pistons
5. ARP head studs/rod bolts
6. OE crank (used but is in good shape)
7. OE Bearing set
8. New OE Oil Pump

I cant remember anything else at the time being. Finally here are some pics of when I was pulling the engine. Hopefully I'll have some more stuff to update once I go to the shop this next weekend to start throwing the engine back together!

3/1/04 Update:

Car is finally going in for my rebuild. I purchased all the gaskets and stuff to do the rebiuld along with some bigger turbos that will go in at the time of the engine re-install. Wish me luck!

Update 10/17/03

Well I decided to update the page finally. I have been busy as ever. Unfortunately the car is out for the season with a spun rod bearing. Its looking like we're going to go through the engine and rebuild it along with some other goodies. On a good note I finally made it to the track (first time ever) and I ran a 13.7 @ 106. Here is the timeslip (and yes thats a .518 reaction!!)

Well here it is. My dream car! I bought it in June of 2002 with 78k miles on it. As of August it has around 83 thousand on it, but that number is sure to slow down now
It sits in my driveway the very first day I got it!
