Tic Tac is a 1993 A package that started out bone stock. I was lucky enough to purchase it 2 years ago with only 49K on the clock and it's top was never down. I actually drove it around for a year, just to see if I would like it enough to say "It's a keeper". Well, after meeting Miata.netters, PACE Miata Club members, and other Roadster addicts, I was hooked. First few things done were Crazy Red airhorns, a rollbar, grill, FDSTB, and new wheels, tires, shocks and springs. These started the ball rolling. Here is Tic Tac after the first few mods were done.

I got to try out the new stuff on a Fall Foliage Ride with the PACE Miata Club through the mountains of WV. Man, what sites...
After the exterior tweaking was done (or so I thought), I decided to work on some interior stuff. I started out with a voodoo brake handle, went Momo for the shift knob and boot, then hit up R-Speed for vent/defroster rings, and slapped an Alpine CD unit in along with Cerwin Vega door units and Kenwood headrest speakers. To give it more of a Bauhaus look, I got a carbon fiber kit from Bene-Vento that wraps the interior nicely.
Well, Tic Tac needed a pal, and since I couldn't afford another Miata to be in the driveway, I thought a "baby" twin brother would be nice. So then came "MiniMe"
I took Tic Tac for it's first autoX last year. Now I understood what I love about these cars.
But, I needed some more power. So I went with a randall Cowl induction, Jackson Racing Headers, and a GReddy cat-back exhaust for a nice sound.
Then, I kind of sorta went nuts over the winter holiday. I mean NUTS! I figured that it would look good with some stripes. So, before the snow came, Tic Tac got striped.
Looked good, but needed more, so on went the mudguards, which I painted myself after a complete repaint of the car.
Then the BSP Fuel lid.
OK, now I thought, that's enough... NOT. In went a 8 inch RF sub with a 400W amp to help the tunes, FM sways, new mats, hazard flasher chrome cover, then some rollbar padding. I got a few other minor things along the way, radar detector and stuff like that.
Then I got hungry. Hungry for more power. I felt like Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor. So I came home one day and said, "Honey, guess what I ordered today?" She said, "What, dear?" I said, "A JR supercahrger with boost upgrade and water injection" She said, "WHAT?!". Oops :)
Needless to say, I love my car. No, really, I LOVE my car. I even striped my Craftsman Tool Tower with some white vinyl to match the car. Some people might call that sick, others, well they would call it sick as well I think.
