here is a page dedicated to the wonderful (new at the time) edlebrock adjustable torque arm for the 82-02 f-body. last i heard they corrected the problem but i don't trust it.

as you can see it wasn't as strong as it claimed. after installation on the vehicle to manufacture specs by a certified mechanic the car was driven off the lift and out of the shop for a test ride. while driving out of the shop into the lot the car hit a slight dip that caused suspension movement and it snapped at the welds.
