dingaling's 1991 Toyota Camry This install is still a work in progress. My manager wanted some better sound in his stock Mercedes ML320, he felt that his music didn't have enough detail or clarity but he also didn't want piercing high's. So I suggested a set of the Rainbow Pro 6.5" component set. After hooking everythign up, I must say I was quite impressed by the sound of these speakers. The first thing to strike me is how sweet and smooth the tweeter sounded. It sounds less brighter than my tn51's, and seemed to have less sibilance as well. Soon to come will be an Arc 5150 to power all 4 fronts speakers and a sub in the rears. I will post pics up when I have them.

dingaling's 1991 Toyota Camry Currently he does not have an aftermarket amp installed and is using the stock Bose amps, meaning that these speakers are being underpowered.
This is a shot of the mids fitting into the stock baffles.

dingaling's 1991 Toyota Camry This is what the stock location looks like.

dingaling's 1991 Toyota Camry Here's the left tweeter angle mounted on the door. He wanted the tweeters to aim at him so he chose the angled mounts.

dingaling's 1991 Toyota Camry And here's the right tweeter.

dingaling's 1991 Toyota Camry We mounted the crossover into the stock dampening material of the ML's door. It worked really well.

dingaling's 1991 Toyota Camry Powering his whole setup is an Arc Audio 4150cxlr, with 85watts for the front speakers and 85watts for the rears as well. He's using a set of the Rainbow Soundline 5.25" coax in the rear. The other amp is an Arc 2100cxl, outputing over 400 watts to his sub.

dingaling's 1991 Toyota Camry Here is his sub, and Arc Audio 10". It replaced an Alpine Type-S that was in the box before. The Arc sub played much lower and louder than the Type-S and blended with his front stage wonderfully.
