This is my 2000 Nissan XTerra. I replaced the factory tires with BF Goodrich 29 inch All Terrain tires, added Nissan vent visors, and had window tint added on top of the factory privacy glass.
Working on your stereo by yourself or with friends adds a home-touch quality to it, if you will. Simply buying a system and having someone install it takes no skill at all.

For my Nokia 8260 cell phone, I installed a hands-free car kit in front of the four wheel drive shift-stick. It works great, sounds very clear. My Memphis 3-way crossover's bass control knob is also located at arms length in the upper left corner of the picture.
I inset Memphis AD100 tweeters in the rear panels above the seat belts, exactly at ear level for optimum sound quality. I had to use a Dremel tool and power drill for this. The insets came out just as I wanted them to. These little tweeters can get pretty loud when needed. I did this about three months ago, so this is a relatvely old part of the system.
