Sup Fellas. Vestax here. Check out my budget install. It's brief for now but when I get a chance to finish up, I'll post it ASAP. Please sign my guestbook. I appreciate any comments that you might have.
Here's the picture of both 3/4" thick MDF sealed enclosures in my truck. They're wedge-shape boxes holding two Image Dynamics IDQ 12 v.2 dual 4 ohm. The enclosure volume for each box is approximately .97 cubic feet. I built these boxes to fit snug behind the bench. If you take a look behind the subs, I used Viscoelastic acoustic dampening available from Mcmaster-Carr. Same exact product as Dynamat - but without the name.

The IDQ's from another angle.
The box dimensions are
Top Depth: ~5.5"
Bottom Depth: ~9.0"
Height: ~ 19.5"
Width: ~ 18.5"

The sub without the grill.

Viscoelastic

The amp and cap sits underneath the bench. The Rockford Fosgate Punch 800a2 amp is powering both subs at 4 ohms mono.
Each sub is getting around 400 watts RMS

My head unit is an older model Sony XCR 7200. It's a decent deck. Underneath it is an Arc Audio PEQ 7, a cool parametric equalizer. I'm not done with the install but when I fix it later, the exposed area around the processor will be filled in. I installed it that way for a temporary place to put it in.

The speakers for highs are Infinity Reference 652i. These coaxials sound real good for entry-level type speakers.

Here's a picture of the amp for the 652i's: Arc Audio 2100cxl, sweet amp.

This is my changer. Sits on the passenger side underneath the bench.

Thanks for checking out my install. More pics to come later. Please sign in after you viewed it.
