Update #2 I just bought another supra to use for the engine, plus I'm doing a tranny swap (stick). I'll post some pics on Wednesday.

Update #1 It's now September 24th, and unfortunately I didn't have a job for the whole summer so I wasn't able to do much except some research. I recently got a job delivering pizza (awesome) and got some cash, which I promptly used to buy an engine.... aka I bought a car that is a piece of crap shell but has a running motor. As soon as I get it home (next Saturday) I'll post some pictures. A new realistic goal is to have it up and running by mid-November. No turbo yet because I don't want to kill myself, plus I just want to get it running first, maybe buy the 7mgte later on.

Alright, here's how it is.... I have no money, and I have no job... I plan to make this a decent car, but for now it's just like everyone else's 1986.5 Supra. A PROJECT CAR. I bought it from a Mexican for $450 because it has an engine knock. Luckily I'm mechanically inclined even though I'm 17. I'm in the process of taking out the engine to figure out what's wrong and see if I need to buy a new engine. I'll update in September when I plan to have it drivable, and then again at the end of the year to list mods done because I don't feel like listing what I want to do until I have it done.
