Welcome to my little slice of Nissan 4x4 offroad enthusiasm. I don't claim to have the biggest lift, best tires, loudest stereo, fastest quarter-mile time or the most engine power. I just want to show what I've done to and with my Pathfinder.
Check out the Nissan Pathfinder Offroad Association(NPORA) forums!

Offroading at the Tillamook State Forest again with new TSL Super Swamper LTB 33 x 13.50's mounted on some silver painted/clearcoated 15 x 8.5" Outlaw II aluminum wheels with 3.5" backspacing.
New stuff: 4/16/05
Upgraded rear axle lower control arms by welding on 3/4" angle iron to deflect rocks and strengthen the arms.
I also built a custom bracket to drop the end of the panhard rod down 3" to accomodate the 4" of lift on the rear axle.
Fresh mods: 4/2/05
Upgraded steering components courtesy of L&P Performance and myself. I built the idler arm brace.
Added 11/20/04: 5 lb aluminum CO2 tank with custom fabbed handle/guard, adjustable pressure regulator and 25 foot coil hose with air gauge and chuck.
Added 10/20/04: SuperLift greasable front upper control arms.
Added 10/14/04: Replaced my old rear axle lower control arms with tubular arms. Looks better, new bushings work MUCH better, and they're a nice shiny white.
Added 10/10/04: Added a pair of PIAA 520 110W ion yellow driving lights and a pair of PIAA 540 hyperwhite driving lights to a custom-built roofrack light bar. Added two LED-lit rocker switches to the stock console for them.
Added 9/15/04: Replaced catalytic converter with a 2.25" Flowmaster Red Hot glasspack muffler. I can definitely feel a difference in power, and I'm pretty happy with it now.
Added 6/30/04: Placed new rear battery box tie-down points, secured battery, fixed stereo capacitor to battery box and moved spare tire from inside to the roof rack. I know, it's messy, but it's functional and I've got everything tied down so it's not a problem.
Added 6/10/04: Full belly skidplate made of 3/8" thick aluminum plate.
Added 6/2/04: Installed my newly fully ported and polished custom modified throttle body injection unit from L&P Performance(no longer in business). It adds a full 10+ HP that I can really feel and looks AWESOME. I'm very happy with the money and time spent on this modification. I got the power back that I lost when I put my 33" tires on, basically.
I also cleaned up the stock air cleaner and removed the entire EGR system, including removing the TBI coolant lines, shaving and smoothing the air cleaner, repainting with Testor's lacquer BlackandBlue paint, and adding a K&N crankcase breather filter.
Additions 5/11/04: Added KYB GR-2 nitrogen charged rear shocks from a 1995 Chevy 2500 4WD, yielding another inch of rear axle travel. Added TWO 3/4" coil spring spacers for rear springs, one top and one bottom. Purchased complete steering system from junkyard Pathfinder for trail spares, also purchased junkyard brake master cylinder for future rear disc brake swap.
Fresh addition 4/24/04: Smittybilt brush/grilleguard, PIAA 130W 70 series yellow fog lights and 100W PIAA 1500XT ion yellow driving lights. I've added a 110 amp alternator out of a Nissan Quest minivan to replace the weak stock 60 amp unit. I also added a Dynasty Broadband Service gel cell battery in the rear. Dual batteries and 110 amps! :D
03/1/04:
Added LED accent lights to clear bumper lights, added underchassis rock lights front and rear, added in-dash lighted PIAA switch for the front PIAA's and an Isuzu Rodeo lighted fog light switch for rock lights(fits perfect!).
1/15/04: Added a 16.5" dual speed high-flow electric cooling fan and shroud transplanted from a 1995 Nissan Quest minivan along with an adjustable thermostat control from Hayden.
11/1/03:
Installed a PowerTrax Lock-Right rear diff locker. Added a Uniden Pro 520XL CB with underhood 8 watt P.A. speaker; added 4 foot 5/8 wave Firestik II CB antenna to roof rack. Moved PIAA 520 lights to 1/4" steel 90 degree brackets on front bumper. Replaced stock rubber tension rod bushings with polyurethane bushings.
Lock-Right install:
7/1/03
Diamond plate rocker panel protection.
5/5/03
Chrome bumper and third brake light from a 1994 Pathfinder SE, added onto the 1988 XE.
