Here is a Pic of me hitting a 143.3dB with my 2 RF Power DVC 10's, and an RF 225.2!! (Lamoore California October 2000)This was my old setup, That I usually compete in iDBL with.
Here is another pic of the rear of my Monte...
Here it is from another angle....and no that isn't a dent in it, that is a reflection of my Tahoe's tire. :-)
My new setup consists of a RF 225.2 and a Shocker 12", Haven't gotten it metered yet, but this set up is MUCH louder than my old setup, it is in a 3 cubic foot enclosure, with 55 square inches of port, and is tuned to 50Hz (I think that in the near future, I am going to build a 6th order Bandpass Box for it and see how that hits, after I get it metered with this setup). I think that I will try a couple dB Drags, but mainly focus on iDBL. The amp is mounted on a plexi base, that is lit up by purple neon, and is "suspended" in the air on a pedestal. I will be adding another RF 225.2 for the mids, and highs, and it will be on the passenger side, mounted exactly like this one is. I have also added tail light black outs to the car, this looks really slick, because of the black exterior.
Ok, got back from the Comp (Hanford, California, April 1st) and I hit a 142 dB with this setup, I am getting ready to build another box for it, this weekend (4-7-01) I will post pics as I get them.
Here is a closer picture of the amp/sub, as you can see, I have added grill cloth all the way around the sub enclosure so that it looks uniform. On the inside of the car, I have also made another "wall" with grill cloth, so when I drop the seats down for comps, you don't just see the back of the box. On the face of the sub box, I fiberglassed it, and painted it with high gloss black, I will be painting the inside of the port with black "Fleck Stone" paint.
Here is a Pic of the Tail end, after I got the black out kit installed.
Here are the Tail lights from another angle. I will get some more pics in the daytime up here soon.
Here are my Clarion SRX1383 5.25" that I have in the front doors, in the factory location. They are pretty loud, and sound great.
Here they are installed in the factory location (I know, not much to see)
Here WAS my Aiwa MP3 Player, the CDC-MP3, all I can say about this unit, is that it is AWSOME I love the fact that I can put over 200 songs on a CD, and not worry about having to change a disk. However, I had to take it back, because it skipped so much, I now have a Pioneer DEH5200 (pictured below) and it does not skip whatso ever.
