Some VIDEOS of my car on www.youtube.com

I'm still trying to learn how to make good video......My son Kevin is the camera man in the videos.Turn up your volume or it's kinda weak!

1st My Exhaust!

2nd A walk around.

3rd Driving around town.

4th some country HWY driving.

5th a Burnout.
I don't usually beat on my car like this.I spin tires. But I don't usually burn them through the gears.
I did this for all the awesome cardomain members,Enjoy!!!
It's strange, usually it's the passenger rear that spins. But it was the drivers rear this time.
Sometimes it's both.I guess it's the one with the least resistance!

My car is also on www.ultimategto.com on pages 24 & 25 of the 65 lot.........and www.crownmycar.com as Tuff65.  And it's on www.motortopia.com as Tuff65.

If you know of some other cool sites.I would love to check them out!

Tuff65's 1965 Pontiac Lemans Tuff65's 1965 Pontiac Lemans

I first got her in June of 1999. For $2400.00 in Spokane, Wa.
She was Gun metal grey. With no primer under the paint. Bondo with no hardner in it. (like chewed Wriggleys GUM ) She had a Pontiac 350 then,With a rod knocking.and a 2 speed Power Glide automatic.

Dents, dings,And lots of rust. In Quarters and trunk floor.
couple small rust spots in Drivers floor boards. And rotten around front windshield & Rear windshield.
But I didn't care...Because I had one in high School and traded it off for a pickup.I hated myself for that, for years...
It took 15 years to find another one,I could afford.
So I bought it knowing full well what it would take to make it right!

I Painted her Black Primer ( really flat black paint )in 2001. And she ran that way for three years,Up to 2004.I also had a 1969 L88 Corvette scoop on the hood then. And will have again Soon...

Now she's Custom ! Shaved Handles,Shaved Antena & Shaved Body Seams.1985 Monte Carlo Mirrors.
Paint(1994 Chevy pickup Light Quasar Blue ) with Silver-Blue Ghost Flames on a G.T.O hood, and front fenders. All rust repair was done while in the Body shop for 13 Months.

Body work and paint done by Rick Newton. He takes a while, but he dose a good job. ( Kettle Falls Collision) Kettle Falls,Wa. Now I hear he is in Post Falls,Idaho.
All rust replaced with new metal, done right!

This is me next to her. Not even interior in it,in this pic.First day back from the body shop.

She runs a 360 hp 1976 Pontiac Trans AM 400/4bbl Edelbrock 750,With K&N Filter,Torquer Intake. High Performance HEI ignition,with wire braided 8mm spark-plug wires.
3 tube Headers Center tube is bigger,With Flowmaster 2.5"exhaust out the back.
With a 350 Turbo Trans and trans cooler/Pickup Tow package. Shifts smooth if you drive mellow. Shifts Hard ( @ 4200 RPMs )if you drive hard. Or you can shift it yourself @ 5500 RPM's,B&M Star Shifter. Rachet shift.
Aluminium 2 row 1" tubes Cross Flow Radiator.

This pic is from before I put the upgrades on.

This is what I would like it to look like.>>>>>>>V

Tuff65's 1965 Pontiac Lemans

This is not my engine compartment. But I wish it was.I like the car color brought into the engine compartment.
( on the inner fender wells, fire wall and Core Support. )
I don't want the tripower though. It's a pain to keep them in tune with each other.( So I hear )Not to mention they cost a couple grand! My Dad has a set up. He offered it to me,but I don't want them....
And No he don't want to sell it.....lol

I will have a balanced and blue printed 1971 455 Pontiac in it soon.It should be some where in the 400+ hp range. With the goodies on it. It's going to be an awesome engine.

308 rearend. For the highway.( cruiser ).....She scratches every gear.( Even loaded with 4 people and a full trunk )
Should be even more fun with the 455! And a 373 Posi rearend.
Flowmaster Dual Exhaust. I had 24" long,4" wide Chrome Tips put on summer of 2006.
She's no quarter mile car...she would probably run in the 13's.Which is alright but not super quick....

Tuff65's 1965 Pontiac Lemans

Weld Racing Wheels. 15"x10"s with 275/50/15s BFGs in the rear. 15"x8"s with 215/60/15s BFGs up front.
I want to go back to the 295/50/15s on the rear, but I have to mini Tub it frist. She was rubbing a little on the frame with the 295s. A 1/2" of clearence wasn't enough. You can see the 295/50's on it.Below in black primer.

She has 1974 Chevy Nova Disc Brakes up front. Done in 2003 by Carry Brooks. Colville,Wa. A Friend.I want to put disc's on the rear eventually.

Glass etching was done by myself. I do Glass etching, and Draw Pencil portraits of Automobiles. And other stuff as well.

I Hunt for extra parts always, and Save all I find. And buy new....( Ebay,Yearone,Paddock,Ames Performance, and Auto parts stores )

(Blk /Primer) ( rocknrobin50sdrivein.com ) Car Show in Grand Coulee,Wa July 2003.

I plan on doing the 69 L88 Corvette scoop hood again. It's molded in this time.( not just rivited on ).Soon I will be able to run either one.It will be painted to match too!I've already done the hood now,it just needs Painted...SWEET!

( Below ) This is at the (Lost In The 50's) Car Show in Sand Point,Idaho. 5/21/2005
These two pics show the true color. The blue has NO GREEN tint to it at all. Most pics show it to be a Blue/green but it's not.
It's more like a sunny sky Blue Metalic.

Below is my car at the july 2005 Grand Coulee car show
( rocknrobin50sdrivein )I put 63 or 64 Grand Prix signal lights in the grills.Since this pic I have taken the running lights out of the bumper.I didn't like the way they looked.A score for my Son.I usually give the things I don't want to him. They were new...

Very nice car, I can see the labor of love that you have devoted to it. I also have a lemans and have a question for you. Why did you put a GTO hood on it? and where did you get the hood? Very interested in your car and please keep me updated on its showings. I do car shows as well, and live in the So. Oregon are. If ever your close let me know I would like to see the car. Happy showing and Pontiac on. Bad67pontiac
