Hello friends...been away for a while. Just to let you all know, I have removed my guest book. Those friends whom I have talked to on a regular basis know where to reach me--please continue to keep me posted and up to date on things, guys...you all should know who you are! :-)
If you are new to my page you may send a message to chevellegirl72@bitchinbluechevelle.com if you so wish. It's something we should push for--MySpace does it, so CarDomain could too, couldn't they? It would keep the haters and nut jobs in check--and that is what I am dealing with here. I have kept the links on my local drive so I can keep in touch with all of my current friends and I will make sure to update as people add me to their friends list. Thank you for checking out my page.

If you are new to my page, I'm Marie. I'm a car crazy, gearhead kind of girl and I am crazy in love with Chevelles--particularly mine. ;-) In fact, I'm so crazy about my baby that I have my own website dedicated to it. If you have the time, click on the link and check it out--mind you, it's a work in progress, so... Anyway, I'm trying to direct more traffic to it, so help me out if you can. I'd love feedback. Thank you in advance!
~Marie~

My baby in Ocean City Maryland 2007 for the Cruisin' Ocean City Coast Show. Isn't she beautiful? She is quite flawed, but she still has "it" or at least she does for me. ;-)

Another shot in front of the local Chevy dealer

Here are a couple of quick shots of the babie's new shoes ;-)
I was leaning with the Salt Flat Specials in the beginning and they are what I finally went with. To me they are a hybrid of a mag and a rally wheel and I like that about them. By the way, 59 percent of the votes went to the Salt Flats. Thanks to all of you who voted and gave me your thoughts and ideas!

The original `72 Chevrolet Chevelle ad
I know it's juvenile...but that's how me and my husband, Dennis spent the last Saturday afternoon of January. ;-D
And, then to feed. I love the front angle shot...and she's right at home ;-)

If you like Chevelles, I hope you enjoy the shots of "Bitchin' Blue"--she's my baby. This car, by the way is my daily driver!
Me smokin' the tires at the local school after hours the first year I got her ;-) and a little more Rubber...

More still....can you smell that?

TECH TIP FOR BBC CHEVELLE and El Camino OWNERS
I don't know if this applies to other models using headers. It is however, relevant to 68-72 Chevelles and El Caminos. By way of spending a few hundred dollars through trial and error we learned that it is best to use universal 45 degree spark plug wires when you are using headers to prevent melting of the wires. We learned this on our first engine build. Also it is important to invest in the nice spark plug boot insulators like the ones pictured below as extra insurance--trust me. We flushed a chunk of money down the drain, not to mention I had to cut, measure and assemble about 4 sets of spark plug wires. They are a pain, but the only way to go for a nicely loomed, made to measure look. Make sure to use enough wire looms to prevent arcing and crossfire as well--again, experience. You can see the problem in photos below.
Driver's side. Cylinders 5 and 7 are the real issues here. Driver's side again--tight shot of cylinder #7

Passengers side...take a good look at cylinder #8
