(april 2004) 1990 Honda CRX 1.6i 16v DOHC (D16a9-uk spec) 130bhp is how it all started....
this is the original car:
Bought the Ground Designs BlackWidow Bodykit and also a brand new sunroof and started fitting it....(june 2004)
Only problem being the bodyshop i took it to had no clue about anything and i later found out that they only opened to do dodgy dealings, so had to take my car elsewhere...where the work continued...(august 2004)
Got there in the end and got the car sprayed ford Moondust Silver with Rage Extreme Spectraflair flakes...(february 2005)
and that is my project...
but then i changed my mind about some things (december 05)....light conversions and colour namingly.....this is the bodywork i done myself, spent a month converting:

Feb 07 update: JDM Integra Headlight Conversion (when is it going to end?)
I dont think anyone else has spent this much money and effort on a crx. if i knew it was going to be this much trouble i would never hav got into it in the first place but im not the kind of person to turn back half way through an ambition.
If anyone is thinkin of putting this bodykit on thier crx i would not advise unless they have either alot of money or know EXACTLY what they are doing. so many considerations to take into account from the begining.
Also, to all the crx enthusiasts, i do not mean to insult the superior standard of crxs, i do luv them standardish too, but my personal taste might not be quite the same as yours!

This is my friends rex, our project been building for 2 years. we have built this whole car from the ground up. it is a 1990 1.6 16v dohc with abs.
we with the help of 1 of our friends welded up whole new sills fresh from mr. honda.
it features lambo doors which took us 2months to install as we had to mess about with the wings, weld bits on, grind bits off, extend the brackets, adjust, weld bits on to stop door opening/closing too much, it was a nightmare, but got there in the end.
also features 2001 civic sideskirts which we molded into the orignal plastics, they also had to be cut and joined for right size. a front splitter which was easy to fit. and a JDM back bumper with a rear splitter
here are some pics:
ok update on this...
now sprayed:
This is a car show i was in on the 16th of July (Fast and Modified @ Ingleston 2006). pics of my car and my favorite others!
