Great thanks goes out to t_a_rex81 for hooking me up w/ this picture! Do you like it? Do you want one? Go to HERE to get one.

This page was created to tell you how it all got started with my 1985 Camaro z28. I purchased the car Sept 28 1998 for $4,300. I am the third owner of the car and was extremly pleased with it. Under the hood it has a tuned port injected 305. The car was in pretty good condition when I bought it but with me being a perfectionist when it comes to my car a few things had to be done. It started out with replacing small things that were broken or just aged. Then started with the bigger things. Since the car had some extras on it when i bought it there were not that many things I could do to the car atleast that is what I thought. After backing into the telephone pole at the end of my driveway. I went and had the damage estimated and it was just over a thousand dollars. It was then when I decided to have the whole car painted and done right. The old paint job from when I first bought it was a quick job that had alot of over spray and things that had bothered me for a while. So why not take this opportunity to get a fresh coat of paint and to have someone do it right so it will not have to be done a few years down the road. So it was final the car was going in to have a new coat of paint. I dropped it off Thurs April 5th 2001. The body work and paint took a bit longer than I expected but thats ok it was worth the wait. I got the car back on July 2nd 2001. It turned out even better that I expected. Ever since I have gotten the car back I have done tons of little thing that make a big difference in its appearance. Now that the exterior is pretty much out of the way besides rims which I have already selected but need to save for. I have decided that the old worn out 305 needs to be pulled and replaced w/ a 4th gen LT1 backed by a t-56 manual transmission. When I purchase the motor it is going to be torn apart and rebuilt with all the top of the line products. I figure if I am going to take the time to do this I might as well do it right the first time. Also well the engine is out I am going to repaint the engine bay to give it the updated look to go along with the rest of the car. The bay was not repainted with the rest of the car because I wanted to wait till the motor was pulled so it could be done right. The car will always be an on going project so check back recently for new things I have done. Check out the second page, it documents all of the body work and all extras I do to the car. Don't forget to vote for my car up above and don't be afraid to sign the guest book or even drop me an e-mail w/ all your questions or comments. Thanks for checking out my page.
