tenorsaw1's 1990 Infiniti Q45

This is where I had the tweeters mounted. I wanted everything to look as stealth as possible. Also, I don't need anything to fancy YET.

This is my bandpass box which holds the 2 JL Audio 12W3's. In the middle is the port which fires through my rear deck. The port had to be aimed at a 45 degree angle because the gas tank is right behind the rear seat, making it impossible to mount the box directly beneith the rear deck. I did not want anyone to see this picture until everything was finished as far as making a cover for it, but I changed my mind.

This is my rear deck, and that black grill is where the port is. Many people always have negative things to say about bandpass, but believe me, the bass is HEAVY and it sounds good.

These are my amplifiers, the 500a2 (bottom) and the 400.4 (top). A small rack was made for them so they could be mounted vertically. I wanted to have them covered as well.

Well, there you have it. I wanted to get rid of the car, that's why I never had it completed. Now I might keep it so I can save more money for my new car and so I can experiment on this one. I want to learn to do my own installations. I already updated the component speakers myself to the 2001 Fanatic X's.

The next thing I would like to do is deaden the rear deck and the roof of the car, which is vibrating. Also, I would like to make the covers for the box and the amps myself.

The last thing I want to do is give a shout out to the guys (and girls?) at CARSOUND.

Update (3/29/03): This car is gone. I now own a 2003 Accord EX V6. I can't wait to get started on the system. I will post pictures as soon as I get started. Thanks.
