What's up everyone? Welcome to my page. My system begins with a Pioneer MEH-P9000R Minidisc head unit.

Now you might be asking "why minidisc?". The answer is quite simple. Unlike CD's, minidiscs do not scratch, they're smaller, and all of them store text information to display on whatever it is being played on. The best thing of all is that the majority of my friends do not have minidisc, therefore, they cannot borrow any from me. You might say that is mean, but if you have friends like mine you would understand. This head unit includes many useful features including a built in 13 band equalizer and high-pass/low-pass filter therefore allowing me to keep the install relatively simple. Next in line was the Pioneer CDS-P5000 single play CD unit which is controlled by the 9000R.

There is nothing really appealing about this unit to me. In fact, the only reason for me buying it was to fill the gap in my double-din opening. Now that I have it I must admit I do play a CD from time to time. After that I have the Audio Control Epicenter which helps in recreating the low frequencies.

The control for the Epicenter is located in the center console. Next in line are the Rockford Amplifiers (400.4 and the 500a2).

The 400.4 feeds my Rockford fanatic X's 6.5" component set in the front and Infiniti Kappa 5-1/4" in the rear. The 500.2 provides power to (2) 12" JL Audio subs in a bandpass enclosure with the port firing through the rear deck. The system is about 80% done but I don't think I will have the car much longer, so it will just have to stay that way until I take it out to put in my new car.
