In the Beginning
In the beginning, there was those sissy roadsters, like the Mazda Miata with less than 130 horsepower. Then the other german manufacturers raised the bar. Next we saw the Porsche Boxster, then the BMW Z3, and Mercedes CLK. Finally, BMW decided to build a roadster to kick all other roadster's asses. This is what the Z8 is about. This bad boy has a 400 horsepower V8, and a chassis and suspension to put that type of power to the road.
The owner of this car loved the car, but did not like the stock stereo. He wanted something that would perform like the rest of the car. That is why he brought the car to La Jolla Audio in San Diego.
The owner wanted something that was loud to drown out the roadnoise, as well as more ummph from the subwoofer system.
