Finally got around to updating pics. For monetary reasons I've decided to keep the tires I have now, they doen't look horrible. I would like bigger, but the ones I have now are in good shape and fit. I put in the add-a-leaf expecting 1" of lift like other people have said, but the actual lift was about 2"'s so that was kind of a pleasent surprise. In the pics below you can see my stero install that I never took pics of and the new headlights I put in. Here are the pics of how it looks now.

I've been driving this truck for about 2 years now. This winter I will be heading down to Flagstaff, AZ to go to college and I will be taking my truck with me. I recently had to have the tranny rebuilt because the reverse gear was completely stripped. I need to update my pics, and when I do I'll show the damage. It is also time to get new tires so I'm thinking about putting BFG All Terrain 30"x9.5". I'd keep the stock rims, but I may think about doing 1.5" offset spacers and an add-a-leaf suspension kit. The front suspension is a torsion bar system so that won't be a problem. I donno, I've done a lot of little stuff to this truck but it really isn't anything special.

I ordered the new clutch and axle sets and they'll be in a couple of days. I need to clean my truck and get some pictures on here cause the page is boring without pictures. I also need to fix the bent front bumper. The bumper was bent when I hit a dog while driving through town. The dog lived and all that was broken was my turn signal and I've already ordered the new part. I'm not going to buy a new bumper until I can find one locally. I'll probably just bend it back and call it good. My truck ain't pretty but it gets me around.

I would have taken pictures of the installation but my camera is broke. As soon as I can find a camera to use I'll take some pics of how it turned out. There is still much fine tuning to be done but it sounds pretty good right now as it is. I might be getting some bass blockers for my 6x9's and the 6 1/2's cause the filters that come stock on the head unit leave somthing to be desired.

Its been a while since I've done anything to my truck, I've really just been driving the wheels off of it. It is summer again and again I have money. This summer I plan to replace the clutch, c-v joints, and install my sub. There might be more as the summer progresses but for now it looks like thats what its gonna be. I got one 12" pioneer sub and a 1000 watt pioneer amp. I've been really happy with pionner so far, as they have given me good product for good prices. I also got a lightning audio 1 farad cap.

Hi. You are from Alaska, so you are experienced in winter driving. Is it a good car for a winter? I am from Poland and I have bought such a car this summer to convert it into "sled dogs truck". I am a musher and I am going use this truck to transport my sled dog team in the winter on the icy roads. I will be grateful for your comments.

What's with the wood shapes in the bed? Oh yeah, and if i was you, grab a tonneau for it. It'll help on gas mileage and keep the rain out. (i had one at one point, but sold it off to pay for the accident damage.
