This is my 88'Camaro RS I got it a little bit before i was 16 ever since I have dreamed of making it a powerful beast. Up until a year ago I started to get serious about making this car a true muscle car, the camaro had a 305 TBI engine in it with about 150,000 miles on it. Needless to say it was worn out and useless. I bought a rebuilt engine from bowtie performance It was a 350 bored .30 over and i had them place a comp 270 cam along with roller rockers, this engine is a 4 bolt main 350 made in 1980. I added an edelbrock RPM intake manifold along with a edelbrock 600cfm carb, I got it as a freebie and now i am having problems with the carb (worked good for a while). I got rid of the air conditioning and emissions crap. I got a set of heddman headers and cherry bombs for the exhaust coming out in front of the tires this is just temporary i plan on getting a more professionally done exhaust sytem maybe magnaflows? I really hate flowmasters so anything that sounds apart from them. I dropped in a posi-rear end out of a 91' IROC to get some traction. I bought a mallory ignition system to help power this beast. I also added a 100 shot of nitrous from the edelbrock RPM nitrous system. Without the nitrous a ran a 14.4 at 95mph still havent ran it with the nitrous. I just started to work on the car beggining fall of last year, I think i am doing good considering im just 18. In the next few weeks i plan on getting that badly needed exhaust system and much awaited aftermarket brake rotors (mine are warped). Im thinking of lowering the car a bit. If you are wondering I dont care much what the car looks like I know it has a bad paint job but that maintains its sleeper look that i like. Actually i just cant stand spending $600 on my car just to make it look better and not faster. Hope you enjoy, if you got any comments/ideas for me please write in my guestbook all comments are apreciated.
