Here is The first and only shakedown run I made before the snow started falling. The transmission TV cable was not adjusted right so I had to back peddle the car 4 times, once shifting fron 1-2 and then three times shifting from 2-3. I later fixed the TV cable, but the tracks in upstate NY close in October. So I had no chance to hit the track again. More to come next spring. I hope my paint job will be done in time.
Just finished the Pro-Ram intake swap. I think it turned out pretty good and it only took me one day to do it.
That AeroMotive fuel reg is a nice piece of work, but I had to install the pressure guage off my fuel pressure tester because the sending unit went bad on the digital guage and cost $56 dollars. Money I didn't have.
And the NOS Y-Block, which was $40 dollars cheaper than AeroMotives. But does the same thing. Go figure!!!
I just installed a 1" phenolic spacer, but I still have yet to hit the track.
Ready for the track after intake swap.
Here is a video of the intake.
Just installed Zex Nitrous PLate 125hp shot. I went to the track and ran 11.27 @ 124 MPH with a 1.67 60ft. I had to come out of the hole on motor because I would blow the tires off if I came out on the gas, so I hit the gas as soon as hit 2nd gear.
Finally painted my hood and I did it in my garage. My first time ever painting. For my first time used that dupli-color paint shop pre-mixed, I think it turned out okay for a rookie.
I just changed the spintech muffler that comes with the mufflex to Dynomax Ultra-Flo. Here is the time slips after muffler swap. I had to add more fuel at WOT. It's like night and day. As you can see I picked up 8 to 10 mph based off of my first time slip with the spintech.
