Well at this next step the car was getting new carpet, so everything came out!

NOTE: The following pics are not of my car's interior...they are Joes 87 that will undergo a similar soundproofing later.

With the bare interior body exposed, I saw all kind of nooks & crannies to go after in the rear!
Here is the spare tire hole.
The side opposite the spare tire.
Here is some of the back wall of the rear cargo area
I sprayed the inside of the outer metal skin w/in the fender wells. I also sprayed in b/w the outer and inner sheet metal skin in the areas where the 2 had a gap and you could get the nozzle in.
I decided to start in these areas, not the floor! Anything to make it easier to get to them. I had to be able to get in the car to spray these areas, so I did not want to be standing of sitting on fresh sound eliminator!
I pulled out all the speakers and used Dynamat where the plates touch the mounting plates.
I took out the speaker baffles in the sail panels...
This entire area was totally coated.
In the end, I managed to coat the inner sheet metal...the backside of the inner sheet metal...and inner side of the outer sheet metal.

All that was left was under the carpet. I cleaned out any dirt and sprayed away.
I coated everything very thickly. I have no idea the number of cans I used,
but it had to be close to 2 dozen (on the whole car).
I started in the rear. I figured it was easier to get in and out thru the doors, so I did not want to block them.
